Elegance at an Affordable Cost
1883 Routin Rose Syrup is a delightful. The flavors are a delightful and not overly sugary. I find it to be the perfect companion for enhancing the taste of both my coffee and a range of alcoholic beverages, adding a touch of sophistication to each sip. A little goes a long way with this syrup, ensuring that the rose flavor remains tasteful without overpowering the drink. One of my favorite morning rituals is mixing this rose syrup with the same brand's vanilla syrup to create heavenly Vanilla & Rose Petals lattes. The synergy of these two flavors is a true delight. The versatility of 1883 Routin Rose Syrup is another plus; it can be enjoyed in both hot and cold drinks, making it our family year-round favorite.Considering its top-notch quality and the fact that a little goes a long way, the price is a great value. The slight premium over other brands on the market is absolutely justified by the exceptional experience it delivers. In sum, 1883 Routin Rose Syrup is a wise investment for anyone looking to elevate their beverages with a touch of elegance and exquisite flavor.

I absolutely love this syrup
I absolutely love this syrup. I made the mistake of buying the Monin brand a few times back, because franky, I was feeling cheap, and shipping prices to Hawaii get expensive on top of the prices for this liquid bottle of dragon tears. But, the Monin brand syrups in Lavender, Rose, and Violet (three flavors I use to make my girly Italian sodas), are just not as good. The 1883 Routin brand does not leave an artificial taste behind in your mouth after you finish your beverage. It actually tastes beautiful, and delicate, and like everything it should... at least in the two flavors of Rose and Lavender (which are my top two favorites). My favorite recipe:Fill a glass with ice, pour in cold club soda, then about a shot glass full of this syrup (more or less depending on how sweet you like it).Sometimes I live on the edge and add milk or cream. Sometimes I muddle some mint in the bottom first. It's also lovely with tequila. Go crazy. My sister calls it my old lady drink, because she thinks the scent of damask rose should be confined to a nursing home. However, I love the delicate floral taste and aroma. What can I say, I'm a foodie. Enjoy.

Very nice rose flavor!
I used this to make Italian sodas, and the rose flavor was actually stronger than I expected (in a good way!). I was concerned it would be too sweet or too artificial. When tasting the syrup the rose flavor seemed somewhat subtle. However, after mixing it in with club soda the rose flavor really kicked in. It has a nice rose aftertaste and I'm excited to try it with tea and other drinks!

Sweet but Perfect for Homemade Lemonade
I bout the syrup to add to store bought lemonade and found that it was too sweet to add to a pre-sweetened drink. It is however, wonderful to add to homemade lemonade. I use it in place of simple syrup and it works perfectly with enough sweetness and just a hint of rose. And it makes making it so fast - squeeze the lemons, add the syrup and water and you're done!I didn't love it in my lattes - it had a syrupy aftertaste that I didn't love. All that said, I'd reorder for lemonade.

Best rose syrup in the market
Mix some rose syrup with seltzer water and this is your drink to go. The taste is authentic and I haven't found a product that beat this one at that level. If you love rose syrup I believe this is the right brand to purchase. Definitely the best taste and quality

Way too sweet and not enough rose flavor
Way too sweet with not enough rose flavoring to it. The sugary taste will overpower and ruin whatever you're mixing this with. I bought it to mix with milk tea or coffee and it ended up being a waste. You can't increase the rose flavor without overdosing on sugar. It was unusably sweet for me. The bottle is huge (see photo compared to a 1/2 gallon carton of milk.

where's the rose?
I was disappointed that I couldn't find Teisseire rose syrup on Amazon, so I bought this brand instead. The Teisseire syrup really has the fragrance and taste of roses, reminiscent of loukoums (Turkish Delight). This syrup however doesn't taste very much like roses, it tastes like sugar. The label says "natural rose flavoring with other natural flavoring." The taste may be compromised by the "other" flavors, whatever they are. This syrup has a nice taste and I'm sure plenty of people would like it. Try Teisseire rose syrup, it's much better.
