Can't live without it!
I absolutely love this! I bought 4 of these already over the span of 3 years. I go hiking and do outdoors stuff a lot so this held up wonderful! I love that it is not high tech, it is simple and easy to use and light weight and small, everything I needed and expect. I have not been disappointed in this at all! Price for this is spot on. I don't use the lanyard so I clip it to my pants or clip it in my pocket. It is accurate on steps. I had to buy more because I am rough with it so it holds up great! I broke one accidentally when I dropped it. I have to say, this little baby if perfect!!

Great product
Have used the same 3DFitBud for years but then lost it. It was accurate, easy to use and can be clipped on, worn around the neck or even carried in your bag. The battery lasts for a long time too. This is why I immediately ordered another 3DFitBud when I needed to replace the one I lost.

Really good easy to use pedometer, but.......
Product itself is great for my needs. I am a bit visually impaired and this has nice big numbers. Seems to be pretty accurate, though it is sensitive and seems to record as a step any movements, not necessarily bad but just something to be aware. The only reason i am not giving 5 stars is the packaging. Not saying anyone would not want to use this, but I would think it is maybe geared towards people with visual problems or older folks but i think anyone would find the packaging an issue. In a blister pack that is hard to open in my situation. Had a neighbor try and they to had an issue. Had to wait until next day for my aide to open and she used scissors and apparently there are some instruction, if needed inside the packaging. And mine got cut in half.If this was in easier packaging would for sure be a 5 star pedometer. Easy to use and easy to see. Just a basic step counter. But that is what i wanted.

best way to count steps
Simple and durable way to count steps. The price is low, the battery lasts for years (longer than the plastic screen), and it is quite inexpensive. This is my third in ten years. I just carry in my pocket.

No frills, works well
My Dr wanted me to get more steps so here I am. I like using this because it’s light and I can attach it to my foot to get a more accurate result of my steps. You might be thinking if my phone has a built in pedometer why do I need this? Well do you want to carry with phone on your walk/jog? Long battery life allows me to easily reach 10000 steps a day which is the recommended amount by my trainer as well. So if Youre looking for a no frills pedometer, this is it.

Great replacement - but problems exist (see Update #2)
I have used standard (pendulum) belt-clip pedometers for years, but the one problem they all had was that the plastic belt clip eventually broke. This replacement is great because it goes in my pocket, there's no clip to break, and I can't lose it.It's convenient and accurate. My only issue is that on 2 occasions I took it out of my pocket to read it and it was blank - not sleeping as the only cure was to hold the reset button and lose the count to that point. But even with that it's so much better than my old ones. I just hope the battery lasts.UPDATE-After the company saw this review, they contacted me and immediately sent a replacement. That unit has been working flawlessly for the last 2 weeks. They followed up periodically to make sure everything was OK. I was totally impressed by their proactive customer service and would not hesitate to deal with them again.UPDATE #2I purchased a 3dFitBud in March 2019. It was great for a while, but one day I took it out of my pocket and it was blankand would not wake up until I reset it, thus losing my step counts for that day.It happened again a week or two later, so 3DActive sent me a replacement. That one did the same thing, as well as a second eplacement. My wife reminded me I had bought her one almost two years earlier, in July of 2017, and she no longer was using it,so for the last 2-1/2 months I've been carrying them both and recording the counts. The results are interesting. Some days they are very close, some days not, but on an overall basis over the 2-1/2 months they agree to within less than 1/2 percent.BUT: during that time, the 2019 model has failed 5 times, losing my count each time; the 2017 model has not failed yet.Sometimes the failure is such that I have to reset it, other times when I take it out of my pocket it is showing a very low count compared to what it should be -evidence to me that it failed and then eventually re-started counting. So I'm somewhat convinced that there is a software bug in the newer model. Evidently 3DActive doesn't believe that, because their only remedy is to send current replacements.I really like the pedometer and the fact that it works in any orientation and is pretty accurate, but it's frustrating to rely on it and then discover the day's counts were lost. I wish they would find and fix the software bug so I could buy another one with confidence.
