Q: Is there a clear base coat that I could use before the black crackle instead of a solid color on wood?

There's a bunch of tutorials on YouTube so check those out. I cleared the painted surface before I used the crackle and was pleased with my results, but take the ventilation warning seriously! It sits like a fog over the surface even with a fan on so be careful.

Q: Ive ordered traffic black and received white 3 out 8f the 5 times i ordered and i cant exchange? These are seoerate orders so how could i order again?

Doesn't matter what color you use, let it dry fully and the crackle should work as long as you follow the directions
