AOMAG Super Strong Neodymium Magnets Belt Clip 100 lbs Magnetic Waist Tool Holder 2" in Dia

Tldr: first order was fake and sucked, replacement was legit and amazing!The first order received was either a counterfeit or swapped out after an Amazon return. The first thing I noticed was the metal belt clip had a very jagged and unpolished corner. The vinyl sticker was loose and it was easy to see it was a common ferrite magnet, not neodymium. It could barely hold on to a handful of screws. I reached out to the seller with my concerns, and they asked if the AOMAG branding was visible anywhere on the side of the clip: there was none. Seller recommended I reach Amazon Customer service for a return & replacement.The replacement arrived with the same plastic clamshell packaging, however this time it was the real deal! The clip was polished and very snug, the branding was clearly visible, and the magnet easily picked up a spanner wrench. Definitely worth it!

I have this clipped on my golf bag and it holds my metal ball markers works great.

This is kind of a crazy reason I bought this, but I’m an RN and making notes is an integral part of my job. But my hands are always full of stuff and I’m always leaving my notebook everywhere. I glued a metal gift tag from the dollar store to the back of my notebook, clipped this magnet to my scrub pants and boom! Hands-free carrying. It works through my scrub top. You cannot see it, and it is not uncomfortable at all. It look like magic! The grip is strong, so when I need my notebook I just slide the notebook down off the magnet and it comes right off leaving the clip and my pants in place!! If you need to carry anything handsfree, grab a metal tag from the dollar store, glue it and use this clip to tote it around!

I use this magnet to hold my phone. It does an excellent job. So long as I don't somehow slide it off (which has only happened once getting out of the car), it holds well. I would trust it with a tape measure or other item of similar weight as well. I bought two different belt clip magnets at the same time, and THIS IS THE ONE that meets my needs. The only other I found on Amazon was not adequate to meet my needs.

This magnet needs a much more robust protector than a piece of paper that constantly slides off from day 1 with no effort on the user's part. I also have to seriously question this magnet's claimed ability to hold 100 pounds when it has an extremely weak grip on a phone and quickly loses that grip to any application of force more intense than a brisk walk.

I'm hyperfixating on rare earth magnets, so I've tried just about every strength, shape, and style. Why? Because I'm an adult and they are fun.lol This one in particular is hands down the strongest and my personal favorite. I keep it clipped to my purse, so I can easily attach my rockform phone case. I also use it as a stud finder...incredibly effective! Buyyyy it!!!💛
