Silly question, once sheets are bound, is it possible to add more pages at a later time? Do the binders open?

Yes you can.The binders are plastic and extra sheets can be threaded into them.Hope this assists you.

Can you use plastic coil binders rather than combs

No, I really doubt it. The way the machine works is it stretches out the combs so you can load the sheets in and then releases the combs back closed. Can’t see this being able to work with coils.

How many pages does the 3/8” spine that comes with the machine hold? Can you buy this spine size separately as I can’t find it?

Not very many, don't know exactly - 12 maybe....don't know, haven't tried to buy the small thin spine on its own.

What is within the starter kit please does it include the front and back sheeted

It has the machine, some comb binders and some cardboard for punching through to get rid of the oil so it doesn’t mark your paper. No paper, covers or anything else is included.
