I bought this product. it is cute. but one of the chicks gets stuck in the egg. is there an easy fix for this? or should i just return the set?

I don't think the chicks are actually supposed to come out of the eggs! The top half of the egg comes off, and they come out of the carton. But my eggs don't separate from the bottom halves of the eggs!
