is it manufactured in Italy?

Grohe is Germany brand, but can no idea if they made it in Italy or no. Working well and looking be good quality.

When the bottom part and the top part are screwed tightly together with the two washers, it leaks through the screw threads. What's the solution?

Thanks for contacting Grohe. This basin waste is designed for use with a slotted basin. If you have an unslotted basin this will not work. Alternatively, you need to make sure the white foam washer is on the basin side of the plug and the black rubber washer is on the underside of the basin. Thanks Grohe Customer Service

Is the bottom bit an all in one unit or does it unscrew and separate? If it unscrews then water will leak through the threads when fitted.

It is all in one unit and plumber said very easy to fit, much better than the previous one I had.

Is this designed to use with basin (code) 3933600H?

If you have a basin”sink” opening 1”1/4width where the wastewater flows down no problems Very easy to clean you only have to unscrew the chrome top to do this every now and again.. check your waste opening for size first…
