I remember Beyblade back when I was in secondary school - I was more of a Pokémon guy, but I still new of it's existence and watched a few people playing it. Fast forward 20ish years, and I've now finally got my hands on a set.I noticed on other sets by this seller, there were complaints of no instructions of usage.. well, we now have instructions. Just one small photocopied sheet though, but it does explain swapping the tops, and how to pull them.Includes a few that light up which are very cool - these have tabs to remove so that the batteries remain full prior to first use.It includes two normal launchers, a pull-string launcher (I'm making up names here lol), and an adapter so that you can mount one of the normal launchers and have a hand grip. When I played with my 7yo, I found it was easier for him to use the "pull-string launcher", it was less complicated to use, though it was of course less powerful than a normal one.We don't have a suitable arena yet, so we used a dinner plate, and it was great fun seeing them all whack against each other until one of them finally stops. The winner being the one that's still moving, or at least still in the arena I guess.Quite a nifty little set for beginners, would recommend!

This is quite a lot of fun I would say.You get loads of spinning tops - and a range of starters or launchers. They spin for quite a time and it is fun to watch them bounce of each other and against other fixed objects. You could see yourself playing with these for quite a time.They are great fund for a range of ages as well - adults as well as kids.The quality is OK but is quite plasticky - I guess they will have a finite life span with heavy use.The instructions are a bit obscure - it was not clear what all the parts were for - you kind of have to work it out for yourself.Overall happy to recommend.

The advert for this item describes it as a high quality set. On arrival, I opened the cheaply made case everything comes in and the pieces all fell out. The foam to hold the gadgets and tops is so crudely cut so nothing really fits properly.As for the playability level, the tops are OK although not very well balanced, considering the price. However, the control devices to set everything in motion are extremely poor and I don’t think will last long in the hands of active children. Frankly for the price I was expecting a far superior product.

I was pretty excited to unbox and test this one out with my children and I was left fairly disappointed by the lack of polish.The case that this set of Bet Battling tops are contained, feel super flimsy. The foam inserts look to have been haphazardly designed with a lack of proper cut-outs for the various items, so I often found that I was shoving items in the wrong spaces. The instructions only cover a portion of how the spinners should be used and there's a lot of guesswork on how some of these items go together. The set comes with two pull launchers, but given the fragility of these, it would have been nice if a few others had been included.The tops themselves, look and feel great. They have a solid feel and the combination of metal and plastic work well to make these seemingly spin for an age. The boys did struggle a little with the spinning tops and how to get them going so the string launcher was definitely the easier on to use. The light up ones were definitely the winner in our house, the combination of the lights and spinning tops really create some cool effects.If it wasn't for the lack of quality in the carry case and poor instructions, this would have scored higher.
