Quality Cable / Great Price
If you need this cable then you really need it to work the first time. It's made from high quality material, is compatible with most networking gear, has molded ends, and a type-C interface for newer laptops... all at a great price. What's not to like?

USB-A to USB-Mini not console cable
Maybe it works with Cisco, but it's not compatible with Brocade. This seems like a standard USB conversion cable and not a serial console cable for connecting to network switches. My computer doesn't recognize it when plugged in when it should be discovered as a serial port. Again, connecting to Cisco equipment is probably fine based on other reviews. Cable seems good quality otherwise.

Great Console Cable
I use this console cable to connect to Cisco, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti gear with ease. I use this product on Windows Machines, Mac Computers and never have a problem. Software I use is Secure CRT, or Putty to console into network equipment. (Windows Computers will require a driver install).Overall the cost of the product is great for what it is used for. Down side is if you have the USB-C cable plugged in and it get's knocked, the connector can easily break so don't walk with the cable sticking out of your laptop.Apart from that small issue, Great cable! I've bought several of them and several of my co workers have bought them based on my recommendation.

Much improved over older adapters
You will need to download the WHQL drivers from ftdi, even for win11, or at least i did, but it works well
