Update:I repurchased this case in hopes that the first one I received was just manufactured poorly. Sadly, it is just the way it was designed. The lid piece feels as though it is smaller than where it attaches to. I had the same issue as in my initial review.I wanted to like this. Sadly the case caused both the left and right sides to be lifted and not sit flush when lid is shut. This would eventually cause damage to the screen and/or warp my Mac. I liked how thin it was and added no weight. The fact my MacBook air would not sit flush caused much concern and I did not want to chance damaging my laptop. I returned it immediately.

Fits great. Eliminates the need for a padded case so I can slip this in my oversized bag and go!

Bought 2 for 2 Mac Air laptops that will be transported quite a bit and primarily operated outdoors. Wasn't looking for "ultimate durable cushioned protection" because heat dissipation is critical but, in the event a laptop is dropped (yikes anyway), this will be the first to bust and take the initial jolt.

Case looks good on pictures but when I open the package, I noticed it came a little bit cracked on the sides. Then I put it on my MacBook and noticed some more little cracks. I applied just enough pressure to snap the case on the MacBook, but I guess that amount of pressure was enough to crack the material. Right now it works but I would not buy again.
