I've lost the pamphlet that comes with this. How do I get it to tab after scanning a barcode?

I lost the pamphlet that comes with the scanner. Looking for the configuration to have it automatically scan when barcode is presented?

It beeps when scanning codes but does not push them to computer. Any ideas? I have tried all the setup codes included with product.

I can't get it to scan at all. What remedy is available?

Most likely barcode no good enough quality or bad lighting. And if it doesn't scan a regular water bottle in daylight or in an office, then the scanner has a problem and may be defective. but try going back and forth with it, starting from faraway and leaning in closer and closer or start really close and lean out more and more.

What software does this work with? Where does the code go after you scan it??? There's no instructions for this thing.

This works with any software. However, the software should be set up to receive the barcode. The scanned barcode goes into whatever program is running and has focus. If you open Notepad, scan a barcode, the barcode will go into Notepad. Software that is designed to accept barcodes usually has an area where it waits for the scan to send the barcode over. The scanned barcode is just sent over as basic text.
