No bristle loss. Easy to use and easy to clean
These brushes are great for emulsion paint as they don’t clog and have good paint-holding capacity. The bristles are not split at the ends and release the paint smoothly, giving a cleaner finish.Being neither hard nor soft, they hold their shape and don’t wander like a soft brush. Additionally, I didn’t have to leave many brush strokes on the surfaces which gave a fine, smooth look. The bristles of the cutting brush are cut at a perfect slant that made it easy to paint clean lines when I used it for painting between window trim and walls. Also, it is just the right size to manoeuvre the brush so there was no need to use masking tape.I soaked and washed the brushes before using them, as recommended by the manufacturer. As well as painted in small sections.Brushes are easy to clean and dry for storing. No bristle loss during painting or after washing and drying.I am happy with the quality of the brushes and the painting results.

Great Value - Good Quality
These brushes are indeed an excellent choice as they do not shed bristles - brilliant - are comfortable in the hand and the three in the set are the most often used sizes - perhaps a half inch brush as a fourth would have been even better. However, these really are excellent brushes and in use they really do 'handle' well. I particularly like the cutting in brush with the longer handle. In use, they do a grand job, are easy to clean and keep well - recommended.

Nice long brushes
These brushes are great. they have nice long handles that are comfortable to hold and use for long periods and the bristles are soft, long and sleek. The brushes are well made, no stray hairs coming out. I washed the brushes and let them dry before using to remove any dust etc.

Good quality
These are decent, well-made paintbrushes, with neat and even, very fine (synthetic) bristles. Having tried out one of the brushes, I found it quite comfortable to hold, and it applies evenly without (so far) any shed bristles – something that I find infuriating, since it means trying to pick off with the mess that comes with it, and you have to go over again. These are pretty good for general DIY, I much prefer plastic handles to wood (these have a slightly rubbery finish, with the ideal slight flexing). The brush section is very securely bonded to the handle section, so no give, not even the slightest of movement, which you get with some. The cutting in brush has an elongated handle, which is good, but I prefer a thinner brush head for cutting in if I’m honest.Overall, these are good brushes, similar in quality to Harris budget range, if a little better. A touch pricey perhaps, but generally good all-round.I hope that you have found this helpful.

Decent brushes, but wasn't such a fan of the shape of the handle.
These brushes arrived just in time for a couple of touch-up jobs I had planned around the house for the May Day Bank Holiday. I didn't use the cutting in brush but I did use the other two which did exactly what I hoped they would. I wasn't picking loose brush strands out of the paint and the everything applied as I would expect them to. The paint was water based and the brushes washed off afterwards cleanly enough.I didn't particularly like the shape of the handles though. It has a ridge on either side of the handle, like a join or seam, which was noticable when holding them and as you moved the brush back and forth you can feel it moving. On the small jobs I was doing it was acceptable but I could imagine on bigger jobs it could start to aggrevate. They're also a touch on the expensive side I felt. I've used Harris brushes a lot over the years, and have never had a problem with them, and looking on Amazon at the moment a pack of five brushes could be had for less than a tenner which would lead me to question why you'd spend more money for fewer brushes, and Monach sell a four pack of brushes for only a pound extra.Decent brushes, but perhaps not quite the best value.

Great for doing detail work
The Monarch All Purpose brushes come in a triple pack. They come with long handles and in two sizes one of the brush’s is 50mm and the other two are 38mm with a 38mm trim brush.I have used all the brushes during my bathroom repaint and they are great for cutting in and doing the window sills and door trims. Smooth finish with no bristle fallout and easy to clean.

A Brush Above!
Really high quality brushes, with nice rubber feel handles, which are good to grip and feel robust / strong.2x 38mm / 1 1/2” width, one with a longer handle, and one 50mm / 2” wide brush.Bristles are synthetic / polyester, but of a good standard. We’ve used them to paint anti-mould paint on a ceiling, and we had no issues with them - good brushes.Cleaned up well too.
