So pretty!
Is a little hard to setup as the pieces are quite small and easy to lose, but it is SO aesthetic! However, when the battery died, it messed up the electronics portion of it (which was not that well built), and the lights weren’t able to turn on since. Either way it’s so pretty, definitely will be keeping!

Cute mini build
I got this set to use with students in my elementary school library. My makerspace includes a bunch of kits that kids can choose to build. This one took a while to get put together. The set is mini blocks, so you have to be very careful not to lose any pieces. The aquarium is made up of a few main large pieces. The instructions are on a single, large sheet and are printed somewhat small. The lines between separate pieces of the same color are VERY hard to see in the instructions, so I basically had to help my students with every step of the build. The final product is very cute, but it took us a long time to get to that point.

Not as good as that more popular name brand
So I *actually built this* before reviewing it!The pieces are the same scale but smaller than that big name brand building block company. Because they're smaller, it's a bit harder to put the set together than something of a similar style from that other company. It says it's for kids 3+ but I can't imagine someone younger than 10 having a good time trying to put this together just because of how small the pieces are.The instructions are good in some aspects - actually writing that some piece is 1x10 or 2x12 so you don't have to count the bumps in the picture. In other aspects, it's not so good. During the end of the instructions for the first part, you're supposed to put little egg-shaped pieces and flowers in various places, but it's tough to tell from the illustration WHERE they go. Luckily it's not like you're being graded on this kind of thing so if the pieces go in the wrong spot, it's no big deal. But it's still annoying. The quality of the bricks are good, but not *as* good as that big name brand company's. The bricks mostly click together well, but it's like they have a slight looseness to them that's not a huge deal but is noticeable if you've built a lot with that other brand.Currently this set is listed at $32.99, and I think for the quality compared to that other name brand the price is a bit steep EXCEPT for the fact that this set comes with a stand with a lighting element in it. Lighting elements for interlocking brick sets are weirdly expensive, so including that with this set makes the price actually quite good. The set itself is quite cute, and I just love having the tiny orange brick separator after having accumulated what feels like thousands of those from that big name brand. So, don't go into this thinking it'll be exactly the same as that Danish brick company that starts with L. It's smaller, the quality isn't QUITE as good. But for the price including the lighting element (batteries not included) it's great. Overall I give this 5 stars, but I gave it 4 for "easy to assemble".

Looks amazing
My grandkids are too young to put things like this together, but they enjoyed watching us assemble it. And they love looking at it on the shelf in their room. The pieces are smaller than I expected. Definitely the smallest of any of the block kits we've had. I found myself taking many breaks during the assembly because it requires some major concentration. The end result is much better than I could have anticipated. I've not tested the water aspect, but will some day. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this kit as long as they understand it is not at all like the major brands.

It's a solid build
Let's start off with the elephants in the room. The pieces are smaller than the widely known brand here in the states. There are a few pieces that are looser than others, but there were enough extras that I was able to find some tight ones. There were a couple pieces of ?seaweed? that did not get fully made by the molds. With that out of the way, yes, this can also be used to house real fish like in the video. The tank is solid and the set will slide into it and you can fill it with water and put some small fish in or a beta, but there isn't really any space or setup for filtration or oxygenation. The set is really nice and solid. There is a spot where it wants you to find a clear rounded corner, and it goes across from the sand section. The placement was cut off in the images in the manual. The light is solid. 3 levels of lights (half blue and half white) and of course off. It uses a touch bit like the older touch lamps I grew up with.It took a few days to build with my fat fingers, and some spots are not as obvious for placement, but that's quite alright. The stand allows for a little wobbling if you are in an area prone to earthquakes and is a nice addition. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Fine
This is a nice little building set but I don't think anyone younger than 12 would enjoy it because the pieces are smaller than Lego and it will definitely take patience when building. Very cute once built and has some nice features like lights. Overall can recommend.
