Will the wired vertical mouse produce basic mouse functions available without having to install any software/drivers?

This mouse plugs in to your computer in exactly the same way as a horizontal mouse. It has transformed my life in computer use as I used to suffer from RSI and since I had this mouse, I have not had even a twinge. I recommend it to anyone and it is simple to use.... the functionality is identical to other mice.

Not sure of its size. I bought the right handed one for a female staff and she is very happy with it.

Wired mouse which takes batteries...?! The picture shows a wired mouse, but the product information says "2 AA batteries required." Is this true?

I have bought this product twice and not had to put batteries in it so it either comes with batteries included or the info is incorrect.
