Marcy MD-9010G Home Gym Smith Machine with Weight Bench

Excellent machine for the money - you need plenty of space for it , but it's a very good piece of equipment . Don't think you can find a better piece of Kit for home use at anywhere near this price . it's as good as you see in many commercial gymsAlso impressed with Pure Fitness & Sports{ the company that sell this ) - the machine arrived with a part damaged in transit , and they had a new part delivered within 2 days of me letting them know - would definitely recommend

Love the machine, can do quite a lot of exercises on it. Feels sturdy. As of yet nothing bad to say. Took me and my partner around 5/6 hours to put up.

What a load of rubbish bought the machine and spent some time researching it, on arrival was excited to put it together and start using but on opening discovered it doesn't come with any weights so it is as much use as a car without wheels. I couldn't see anywhere it saying no weights included in bold lettering and thought I was Gett what was in the picture well no get your wallet out to buy the rest of what you will need ( RUBBISH )

Not a bad piece of kit, but there are some issues:1. The arm trainer on the supplied bench is rubbish, due to a tiny range of motion. Ended up taking that off.2. There is a lot of built in resistance in the cable system. If you're going fairly heavy it's fine and not noticeable, but for the light stuff (e.g shoulder isolations) it feels totally wrong.3. The smith bar is noisy!Overall I'm happy with my purchase, as I like having a the extra variety a smith machine and pec dec provide. However if 1000 quid is your entire total home gym budget, then you'd be far better off getting a power rack, dumbells and maybe a powerline cable crossover.

My husband was more than impressed with the quality and uses it every day. Courier call centre was not helpful at all!! However the delivery guys were very helpful and carried the gym in to our garage ready to build. Great purchase but Shame there were no weights with it so had to buy separately.

Brilliant piece of equipment. Took 15 hours to put up with two people working on it. Smith machine works very well and also the cables. The Pec-dec works well except it bangs against each other when performing a fly on it, which after time may cause damage. Some welding problems were on the framework as it was too tight which lead to the pulleys not fitting in the slot. But all in all definitely worth the money, and looks great in my home gym. If you are looking for an all round home gym, this is the one to get as MARCY is a dependable and brilliant company.

Items arrived on time. Very good quality. Great Multi-Gym for someone who wants as much variety as possible on one Multi-Gym, well worth the money. Instructions to build are very clear, easy to follow. Very time consuming to build though, quite complex and complicated (you need to read carefully) would recommend you open ALL packs, lay EVERYTHING out before you begin so you can find everything easily. Would recommend the Seller label or sticker ALL of their parts with numbers so the instructions are easier to follow. But all in all quality product, fast delivery, good instructions, solid/quality Multi-Gym.

It took a day to build by myself but now its set up its everything I need. Luckily I already have the weights to go on it but if you go direct for an extra 100 quid you can get a good set of weights with it. If you want to change delivery time then you really have to keep pushing them because they couldnt get hold of the delivery driver until half hour before my time slot. Anyway who cares my marcy gym is an amazing bit of kit
