finally...
I have tried multiple products and spent a lot of money to stop my head from being a human cornflake! Sound familiar? I don't usually write reviews unless it's worth it. I am busy, but appreciate the honest reviews of others. This shampoo totally removed my psoriasis in my scalp which was the size of a 20-50p piece. some times i do a one wash/sometimes a double - double is always better. You dont need much for 1 or 2 tbh. Its squeaky clean on the 2nd tho. Probably took a goo 6 months and i dare not do anything different after a number of years trying to find something that works.I've been using it for 18 months now (Nov 22) and it was due to it yielding pretty convincing positive results after a couple of washes - less scratching and less cornflakes. I now have no psoriasis in my scalp and i have this on subscription. I have also shared it with work colleagues...apparently it can strip hair colour? Her positive comment was "it disappeared, and ive not picked since". :)I have not noticed the reduction in hair colour to be fair, and i do claim to be a non-natural blonde! I am more than happy to have a head free of scratching and flakes...so who cares about the colour? I just book a colour in and I have not had to book more than normal! seriously worth a punt.I would say don't bother with the body cream stuff for me on the deal often showed, may work for you so if its a good deal? Why not?! Personally, didn't work for me. I wanged those in the bin after a couple of weeks for something else i will write a review on. Good luck and don't be too down hearted. xx

Effective shampoo
This is my second purchase, and I find that because it is SLS free it really helps with my scalp irritation.

Shampoo
Bought this on reviews alone... done nothing at all for my itching head and sores.... waste of money for me... but worked for plenty of reviewers ..... keep on looking 🤷♂️

Sadly didn’t work for me at all
I have suffered with scalp psoriasis all my life and have itchy flare ups. It can be sometimes controlled with Other mainstream shampoos, so I read the reviews and gave this a go. It was rubbish . I used it 3 times and the itching got worse. Not for everyone!

Works for me
I am a bit stingy about writing reviews generally but when something is good and works I will make the effort. I have scalp psoriasis and like most people have tried just about everything out there. I usually use T-gel but was getting fed up with it drying my hair out and it had got to the point, like a lot of treatments, where it wasn't working anymore. I have used this shampoo everyday for a week and there is improvement and the plaques are breaking up, I think with another 10 days there will be significant improvement. The shampoo is clear and has little or no fragrance, nice big bottle and easy to dispense, the winner for me is that it is gentle on my hair and is not as drying as a lot psoriasis shampoos. As we all know, there is no miracle cure, its all about management of the condition and in my opinion this shampoo is a very good tool in the management process. I would recommend giving it a try, a bit pricey but I have paid more for far less results.

Very, VERY viscous and difficult to dispense
I have psoriasis in my scalp (and on my body), I can't recall now where I heard of this product, but I decided to try it. Psoriasis sufferers are often looking for something "better" or faster acting than what they have used before.Salicylic acid is a well-established treatment for psoriasis. The consistency of this "shampoo" makes it very difficult to use. It is extremely viscous and gel-like, and squeezing the bottle as hard as I could only a very small amount would appear from the nozzle - and definitely not enough to form a lather. So I removed the top from the bottle and by squeezing the bottle hard I could get a more normal amount out onto my hand. I have slight arthtitis in my hand but so far I can still grip and simply ignore the pain. I think someone with any greater issue with arthritis or hand-strength generally would definitely struggle to use this. The shampoo has a very thick gloopy consistency somewhat similar to the "slime" that you can buy for kids to play with. Once I had a blob on my palm, I had to use my finger and thumb to break the blob free of the shampoo in the bottle. It is also very stringy. As an experiment, I removed the top of the bottle and held the bottle upside down without squeezing - after 3 minutes nothing at all had come out of the bottle under gravity.Note that in my house today the ambient temperature is 24 degrees C, so it is not as if this bottle has been in a cold bathroom in winter. It has only 2% salicylic acid, so it is not the strongest such preparation on the market. So far for me i cannot even feel any noticable reduction in the itching of my scalp.I think I will go back to Alphacade or T/Gel.Edit: less than 12 hours after using this shampoo for the first time, my head is itching again just as strongly as before using the shampoo. That might be because the shampoo is not particularly effective, or it might be that because it is so viscous, it is difficult to get an even spread of it over the scalp, and to really get it massaged into the skin. I used it twice as directed on the bottle (as with most shampoos).
