I recommend that you go to the manufacturer amazon store site and get the combo deal with the tripod unless you already have a tripod because it is needed. I used the laser to hang few pictures and also to check my walls. I think it's good tool to check on a house you're going to buy to see how well it's built, luckily we found a good house with most walls are plumb

I used this laser level to hang shelves and picture frames throughout my house—it was a total game changer. The 360° coverage is awesome, and setup is super fast. Rechargeable battery is a big plus. Feels solid and well-made for the price.

I had concerns that at the price point, this wouldn’t be an accurate or durable tool. I don’t know how durable it will be but it’s exceptionally accurate and I have used it countless times. If it were to quit working today, I would order a new one in a second.
