This is a more expensive anchor light for its style. Infact it might be the most expensive one. It lasted little over 3 months for me before the base broke. Had it on my T-Top on center console. Shame shame. This is why I always sell my customers aqua signal over hella. You hear that hella?

the light works great, very bright, omnidirectional and the fold down works well. However, I've broken two so far in 3 years of very light use. They just can't stand up to ocean conditions. The first one Hella replaced when I emailed them. When the replacement broke at the base the same way, the didn't return my email. I feel stuck because it would be a lot more work to swap the light with another brand, which coincidentally, would probably. be a lot less expensive, but I don't want extra holes in my t-top were the base was installed. So, I'm buying another one.....I actually have the 18" version, but might go for the 12 just so there is less leverage on light when we pound through the swells.

Best light out there. It shines alround! Just FYI it does come with a flattening wedge for surfaces other than rails.
