Wish I would have found it sooner!
I bought this to use at my job as a training tool for our new staff. It works perfect. I wish I would have found this a long time ago. Recommended highly for training in call center type job or anyone who needs to listen in to learn how to handle calls

Flawed Product
Per other reviews mention, the mute buttons do not mute voice, they mute the incoming call for the corresponding handset. Pointless when being used for training purposes.

It's does everything it suppose to do... plug to headset together and you control the who can talk.One thing that we noticed, If you use un-amplified headsets and you have both lines unmuted, the sound level will be drop drastically for both headset... if one channel is muted, everything is fine, the sound level stay the same.

Mute function works in reverse
I like the product overall, but there is one critical function which works in reverse. The Mute button mutes incoming voice whereas logical process should be to mute the outgoing voice traffic.

I need to send it back it is not for the average phone jack so it does work to switch between my phone and fax. Otherwise it appears to be a perfect A B switch.
