Bought 2 of the alen Piralda’s 9 years ago when my 13 year old son was diagnosed with cancer and was susceptible to disease and dust due to chemo treatments.These machines work great but at the time filters were very expensive to replace.Found these filters to be affordable and ordered 2 with subscribe and save every 6 months.Thankful to have these as they helped in his recovery that his air was clean.He is now 22 years old and cancer free.

Thanks for making the genuine Alen filters available on Amazon! Was looking for a while to find replacement filters for our older Alen purifier- and was glad to be able to find one that works!

I was tempted to save a few $$ and buy an off-brand, comparable filter but then read the reviews and decided not to take the chance. I'm glad I spent the few extra $$ and bought the appropriate Alen filter. For what we paid for the filter unit a few years ago, I didn't want to risk damaging it or voiding the warranty by using a cheaper version. It slid in without any issues and I reset the filter indicator light and within minutes I could smell the fresh air. (I admit I vacuumed the old filter and replaced it) but having the new Alen filter made all the difference in the air quality in our large living room area. It just smelled and felt cleaner.

I really like my Alen. I've had a couple of different air purifiers and so far this is my favorite. the first time I used it, the air had a freshness to it like when you are out in the middle of the sea (except with a sweeter smell) I've purchased the replacement filters several times. They work great, but I've never felt that the replacements were as good as the original, though my none suffering roommate proves its doing its job.

Mainly use this in my bedroom because my husband has asthma. It’s amazing how much dust it collects weekly. We do vacuum the filter every week to prolong the filter. I replace once a year.
