Does it have over ride float ?

Yes. The test switch sends power to the motor over-riding the timer and float. Unless your system has a float in series with the pump.

Is the pressure sensor, for the air pump, inside the control or is it a separate device?

This controller monitors the external air pump pressure. There is no pump in the unit. It has a port where a tube from the pump plugs in. This unit was easy to install and worked well. On a side note, throw some desiccant packs in the box. I had to replace the old one because the moisture deteriorated and the electrical connections in 3 years. Make sure all entries into the box are moisture tight with some silicon. I'm hoping this one last more than 3 years.
