How far away will it detect glass breakage?

If you put the alarm on the window glass once the windows gets tapped, shaken or broken it's going to go off. You have to actually break the window or you tap it, I've had heavy rain / hail hit the window & it has gone off. Also if it thunders really loud where your home shakes they will go off. I've had birds 🕊 fly into the window & they go off !

can you use command strips to hang up? Can I put them on the window or glass?

i like to open the windows during the day. and want the sensor on at night. is it possible to open/close windows? or will that trigger the alarm?
