This works great! I was doubtful, even given all the good reviews, but was desperate to try it. I’ve broken two wrists, and despite my non-senior age, I’m usually unable to open most jars. This gadget works. Oh my gosh, IT WORKS. Even better and faster than my strong 28-year old son’s capable hands work. I was a bit tired of banging jars on the floor to loosen the seal, or running to my neighbors’ for their help. Put the jar up to this, give it barely a twist and you are in business. It’s genius.

I bought this as a gift for my grandmother with arthritis. She uses it often and says it works like a charm for her. I will say with heavy jars and cans, she has to use two hands which can make it more difficult for her but other than that it's opened anything she needs with ease and has lasted two years now. I'd say the durability is well worth it. The design is good, you can install it anywhere it'll fit.

My husband got this for me since my hands are so arthritic. I can not openi any thing even a bottle of water this opens everything . I don’t have to find someone to open anything I can do it my self . Hubby attached it easily under my cabinet !

This opens stuck lids so easily. What's best about it is that I can use both hands to turn it against the opening bar in the top. Before I got it installed I used it flat on the counter top to loosen the lid just a little. I didn't open it all the way like that so I wouldn't spill the contents. I like this so much I ordered a second one for my daughter's kitchen. This is so much better than those that need two hands - one to hold the opener and one to hold the jar. With this one the underside of the cabinet holds the opener and I only have to hold the jar.

This jar opener is everything it says it is. This was in my saved for later cart forever and I'm glad I finally bought it. Super easy to install. I don't need it everyday, but when I do -- it's the best and it's effortless! No more waiting for someone to be available to open stubborn jars for me.

Amazing! I wish I’d found this sooner. I may not use it every day but when I need it I am so relieved to have it!! It's installed in the appliance garage so it’s hidden away but accessible and does the trick every time… no more running water over a stuck jar or messing with silverware tapping tricks or ultimately breaking the jar.Every kitchen should have one.
