First of all I'd like to say how quick the delivery was. When the parcel arrived I couldn't believe how light it was very good for long backpacking/hiking and wild camping as it hardly ways a thing. When opening the tent I was very impressed with the quality, very well manufactured and very well packed. The hammock its self is incredibly comfy when first setting it up I thought it was abit thin and may struggle to hold weight but was proven wrong very quickly as not only did it support me fully geared up but support my bag too.The tree hugging straps are a good length and great quality allowing for a good range of gaps between a anchor points. The rods are made out of metal and are already part curved which adds in set up.The over sheet is a very good fit with some small yet impressive little features such as poppers at each end to go around the tree huggers.Once inside I straight away felt comfortable to sleep and it warm up quick, struggled to zip up from the inside but I imagine in time I'd learn how to do it with ease. All in all very impressed with this hammock tent very good quality, easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to pack away and incredibly light weight.Still to test what it is like as a standard tent and how water proof it is but this product is worth every penny 10/10

Game changer
Me and a few mates are avid campers and this compared to a traditional hammock is next level, I got one and now we all have them , being that much more horizontal is great no more feet end higher (but not too high) faffing about with setup , just hang level and then tighten with the bottom straps , dead easy , don't forget the poles go in before you tighten with lower set of straps , packs away really easily , rain tarp is a great addition and if you use some sticks you can use the door as a rain cover to sit sideways on the hammock, haven't used with an air bed either just a thermarest zsol and a sleeping bag , plenty warm enough but if it's winter you would need more insulation below as wind will get your back and i don't really see how a hammock underquilt wouod fit this thing, no issues with condensation either only a slight bit where I think my leg had pushed the inner into the raincover over night , is a quite large bit of kit so i use the handles on the bag to tie to the bottom of my bergen , really cannot recommend enough, a camping essential

Great piece of kit
Great and comfortable hammock and easy to use. However! One of the poles where broken at the joint, luckily I was able to use the metal tube off a friends spare tent pole to reinforce it whilst it was raining. May not have been a great trip hadn’t he been there!Lesson learned, check equipment before your trip!

This lay flat hammock is a must side sleepers who want to enjoy hammock life. It’s sturdy, well made, looks great and comfortable. I’ll never go back to tent sleeping now I have this. I love the pattern of the rainfly and that it also has a storage compartment underneath to store your bag, boots and cooking equipment. There’s no need for tarps or an under blanket as the little storage compartment works well as wind breaker. I used my onetigris sleeping pad and was toasty all night. It was easy to set up taking around 10 minutes. All in all an excellent piece of kit I would recommend to anyone. Happy camping :)

Nice product but returning for refund
Had high hopes for it and was super pleased when I set it up, really easy to rig.But after it flipped twice in one evening and ripped the waterproof cover. The other thing is I'm 6'3 and by the measurements I should have space but my feet and head are right against the big net. Unfortunately it's too expensive to keep and I have too little faith in the stability to sleep comfortably I'm afraid

Fantastic Hammock Tent for Wild Camping
I recently used the Night Cat Flat Lay Hammock Tent during a wild camping trip around the Lake District, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hammock is incredibly comfortable, providing a flat lay that made for a great night's sleep. Setting it up was straightforward and quick, even in less-than-ideal weather conditions. The material is durable and held up well against the elements, including a few rainy nights. It's also lightweight and packs down small, which is perfect for backpacking trips.Highly recommend this hammock tent to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable option for wild camping.

Avoid this company - returns impossible and customer service rude and accusatory
Avoid this company. This company's customer service and returns policy is impossible to navigate. Trying to return an unopened hammock I ordered directly from their website as a gift for Christmas for my son - in order to exchange it for a larger hammock version. They have led me on a merry dance with dozens of emails and have taken over £90 of my money and are refusing to refund me - despite my having ordered and paid again for a larger hammock (through Amazon) in good faith that NightCat would refund me for the mistake I made ordering the smaller one. They claim I have tried to scam them by sending them a parcel full of blankets in place of the hammock, for which they have shown me some ridiculous photo evidence from their UK factory - they refuse to question their courier DPD and say the tampering cannot have happened in their UK warehouse depot. I dropped it securely at my local Post Office as a totally unopened boxed hammock parcel, I hadn't even opened it as I realised immediately that I'd ordered the wrong one by mistake. I followed all of their elaborate return instructions sending my own photos to them of the parcel - before they would even send me a label to make the return via their choice of courier DPD (at cost to myself of a further £9 )- they are refusing to approach DPD for insurance on the package and demanding I provide evidence that I didn't send blankets!!! absoluletely impossible to deal with, they are based in China and communication is slow and delayed.VERY DISSATISFIED and ANGRY customer.
