Really useful
Have a desk in an area with no power outlets, this is a great solution.

Not strong light
The idea is good and works fine but the light is quite weak so you need to put is very close to the subject to have a good light. For desks, unless closed environment or near the table, you may feel it does not light up the table properly- very faint.
