Took this photo after I had cooked them 12 hours on high in Slow Cooker, then low for 4 more hours. They turned out great. I did add Jalapenos because that is how my favorite "Timbo The Peanut Man" where I use to live makes them and other flavors. Ham is great in them too. I have an oval slow cooker, so I did have to add more water to mostly cover. If you have a deep, round one you may or may not have to. They need to alter the directions for an oval slow cooker and the old time round deep slow cooker. The directions are misleading on how many liters it is. Highly recommend. Yes, they are slightly salty but what boiled peanut isn't

Easy to cook and they taste great. A little expensive but tastes good enough I'll probably order again. I'm from the south where boiled peanuts are everywhere. Once we moved to Missouri they're hard to come by. So I'll probably order again.

The flavor, original, was spot on. There were more bad peanuts then I would have liked to see. For me the biggest downfall was the cooking time given for different methods. We always boiled them on the stove as a kid for hours. At any rate, I used thier crock pot method. After 16 hours, I then put them in the insta pot on the soup setting for 40 minutes. At this point I was done cooking them! The smaller ones were soft but those of normal size were not near as soft and I like mine soft. The next bag will be done on the stove top and if that doesn't do it then I will go to another brand. Flavor is great however.

Afer 20+ hours on high in the slow cooker the shells on these were still really firm. Not sure if the peanuts were old or why they needed so much time. Instructions said to slow cook on high until they stopped floating and sunk....but after 12 hours they were still floating. Cooked an additional 8 hours and the shells are still firm to hard. Plus the way the bag was knotted you couldn't check them without cutting off the string/knot. Then used a rubber band to secure the bag. Will probably toss the other bag. I missed boiled peanuts, but these were not the way to go.
