it works
i purchased this for my aquariums idiot boy yes me tried a few different ways to hook this up not realizing there was a double washer in one of the fittings that came with it and hid the threaded fitting I've been looking for in every hardware store under the sun. ultimately i had to hard plumb the unit due to some leaks which i added an inline pressure gauge. im averaging about 5 gallons pure water to about 12 gallons waste water. I do have 1 huge request for this unit since it is painfully slow, make a 1/2 pvc pipe timer that can be hard plumbed into the unit. I told my wife to not shut the garage door i was testing the unit, she forgot and closed the door and of course the baby had me occupied and wouldn't go to sleep unless i laid down with her, when she finally passed out i got up walked by the closed garage door and forgot the unit was running till the next day. thankfully the waste water i plumbed to go into my pool no loss there since it was low and i needed to fill it. barley dented what i needed to put in. but the fresh filtered water side filled up the 5 gallon jug and overflowed for a about 12 hours, not much of a mess i'm guessing only a couple gallons ultimately over flowed so now i make sure to use an alarm before i turn that faucet on.

Great CS!
Product works great, no issues except attaching it to my faucet, but that was due to my faucet being cheap plastic. What really impressed me was their CS. My product did not come on time and whenever I tracked the package, it showed as "delayed" and would give a new delivery date. Finally, after 2 weeks of this I called all ready to chew some butt, but before I could get a good head of steam going the CS rep saw that it was lost in shipping and would send a new one through priority mail and upgrade it from the 75 to the 150 gpd. This was late on a Friday night and he said he would get it going and email me the new tracking # tonight.I did not get the tracking # so I called again on Monday morning. Talked to the same guy and he apologized because it was too late that night to get the order out so to make up for THAT, he threw in a free set of replacement canisters.A bit of a rough time, but they did right by me in the end. I could tell by the way they handled themselves that they are committed to making happy customers. Overall I'm impressed with the company, as for the product, it does the job as intended, can't really complain.

Excellent for my use which is to create RO water to top off my fish tanks.
Good build quality and was easy to assemble. It is 100 gallon per day version so it does take a little while to create 5 or 10 gallons of RO water. However it is more than sufficient for my purpose which is to generate RO water for topping off my fish tanks.

Great Product and customer service
****One warning. Check your water pressure at home (device is about 5 bucks). If it's 40 or below you will need to request a low pressure membrane. I had to resolve this through the company after the fact because there is no way of knowing in the amazon description. The good news is that you don't have to buy the highest pressure model (150gph) since the low pressure membrane is only about 75gpd anyways. So if you're pressure is lower purchase the cheapest 75gpd unit and ask for low pressure membrane. I've been using this for maybe 6 months and it works very, very well. This is for fish tank purposes. The water measures zero nitrates. The price is awesome compared to similar units out there. I've been trying to measure the ratio and it does seem about 4-5 waste to 1 clean water. This device is versatile. You can take outside in the summer and work off outdoor hose connection if you choose. It can also be connected to inside faucet (as long as it's screw in diffuser). I had to buy an adaptor from home depot to make mine work but it's worth it. The best part about the purchase is that the company answers the phone (owner I think) and he took care of any issues immediately with no hassle whatsoever. I rate this company as top notch seller and would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

Getting about 1 gal of good filtered per 2 gal of waste water
Bought the 100 GPD version as the water pressure at my outside hose connection was about 80. Unit came fully assembled and pre-rinsed in a USPS box. It included extra hose elbow connections and a couple of wall clips and a wrench for the membrane canister. Instructions were basic but pretty clear. It's compact and easy to move around. For every gallon of good filtered water I get, it outputs about 2 gallons of waste water. Takes about 40-45 minutes to create 5 gallons (my bucket size). The instructions say it will get faster, but I'm happy with that at only 2-to-1 waste percentage. From what I understand part of that performance is my water pressure. Super easy to setup and get going -- connected to outside hose outlet, put the 2 output hoses in buckets, and turned on the water. Very happy at this point with the system and would recommend it for smaller aquariums (mine's a 30 gal) if you're not going to leave it hooked up all the time.

Highly Recommend - 100 GPD System
I have to admit - I was skeptical about purchasing this item to provide the clean, safe water I need for my freshwater aquariums. We have terrible tap water, so I didn't even trust adding chemicals to it to use in my aquariums. I've been using bottled distilled water for almost 2 years. Well, I was worried for no reason ... this system is great. It took me less that 5 minutes to set it up in a tub that we don't use and start getting water. I used RO water from this system in one of my aquariums last week (after testing the water, of course) and the fish are doing fine. I'll be using RO water from this system in all of my aquariums the next time I do water changes. My husband has already said that the next time our whole-house RO system goes down for maintenance, we'll be drinking the water from this system. Definitely glad I gave this system a chance.
