It works in stock tanks and outdoor waterers to prevent algea and scum buildup during hot weather. The small quantity I bought will last several years for about 50 waterers for my chickens. A minute pinch to slightly discolor is all that's needed and has no ill effects. Too much and the birds will not freely drink. For fist time users recommend asking locals familiar with dosing or look it up on the internet

I bought this for my pool to help with algae blooms. I live in the South and we had so much rain this Spring and Summer that it was almost impossible to keep the algae blooms down. I was going through expensive algaecide like crazy. I got this and now all I do is add a few tsps in the skimmer periodically and no more algae issues. Such a great value!

If used properly this will completely keep the algae out of your pool and create a safe environment with the copper but you still have to use chlorine for sanitation very important. We use the proximately 1 tablespoon and then another tablespoon a couple of weeks later and whenever it rains or we add water to the pool another tablespoon and constantly monitor the water to make sure there’s not too much copper. Our pool has never been clear and no algae problems without buying all the different chemicals to put in the pool to try to keep that from happening. I wish it was a little bit cheaper but it’s still a lot less than all the other chemicals and it works we also bought the copper test kits to make sure that we don’t get into a poisonous zone of over copper because that can’t happen so it must be monitored At least once a week if you end up with too much copper you have to drain water and put any water in until your levels are safe. But all in all I think it’s fantastic as far as a pool algicide Alternative. Look up on YouTube how people have used it and decide for yourself.

I use this for electroplating and I have had poor results using normal settings. I have switched power supplies and rechecked my math on the weight to water ratio and temperature, and all is good to go. However the purity is likely lower than stated which results in very poor results.

I used this to add to my pool for algae. So far, doesn't work very well. But I'm going to give it a little more time before finishing this review

First week I put two tablespoons in skimmer the following week one tablespoon and black mold started to disappear. So will be adding one tablespoon per week. The plus is the water is crystal clear👍
