FANTASTIC - ignore the haters
I have quite a few coolers, and am a personal fan of Rtic for their ice retention & budget-friendly prices. Sure, Yeti is 100% a phenomenal cooler, but you get about 95% of the same value at 1/2 - 2/3 the cost with Rtic. That being said, this Coastland Bay Series cooler falls under the same relative quality - I'd say about 75% of what a cooler like Yeti offers at an insanely cheap price. I purchased the 15qt cooler to turn into a live bait cooler, so I was perfectly willing to chance poor quality/insulation, especially after having read some bad reviews, some even claiming that the lid is hollow & not insulated. Well, this is FALSE. I cut a hole in the lid during the making of my livewell for bait and I can prove that it is indeed insulated. The construction is stout and, without any branding, you'd never know it wasn't an Rtic or a Yeti (except for the differently shaped rubber latches). I cannot speak for it's ice retention, as I only use it to keep baitfish cool, but I'd imagine that, given the size, it'd do just fine for half a day or maybe even a full day. This cooler isn't large enough for anything other than a few drinks or a lunch or two, so I wouldn't expect that it needs to retain freezing temps for longer than 10hrs. If you're looking to keep a few days worth of camping meals/beverages around 40 degrees, I'd strongly suggest spending more on an Rtic or something similar but, if you're looking for something to keep a few beers cold while you fish or work, etc., then this is the cooler for you. I'm not sure how they can produce and sell this cooler so cheaply but, if you're looking for a quality rotomolded day-cooler for under;$100, get yourself a Coastland Bay Series.

Fantastic for a large lunch box or day trip for one.
This cooler actually keeps my lunch cold. It is larger than the average lunch box but it is fantastic. I would compare it to my Rtics for quality. The size is perfect for a day trip. I ended up using this cooler alot more than I thought I would. Grocery runs in the summer, road trips and outdoor activity's. It's perfect for fitting in a seat in your vehicle without being overly large and it can be buckled in easily. The only con that I have found is the handle. It has popped off once when I had it full of ice, but it's fine with me for the price trade off.

Great cooler
I use this cooler every day for lunch. I work in an office, so I don't know how it would fare in direct heat, but I have reusable freezer packs that I put in there along with my lunch and it stays cold all day. Built very sturdy. The only likely source of failure will be the foam handle material. It feels like it will crumble and tear at some point. But the metal handle will still be usable so I don't worry about it at all.

Really nice rotomolded cooler for a reasonable price.
A really nice rotomolded cooler for a reasonable price. FULLY foam filled insulation. It's easy to confirm, since it's injected through the feet and back of the lid (same as yedi). Testing with a light also confirms this. It's only 1" thick, which for a cooler this size, seems ideal. You're always trading weight and internal volume for thicker walls. In my 100 qt cooler, 2-3" walls make sense. I think this cooler works very well for kayak fishing. It weighs 12# (which seems light to me).

Not well insulated
Was a well made cooler, great size. It was very light which led me to believe it wasn’t very well insulated as stated in other reviews. The lid was insulated but when I put a bright flashlight inside you could see the light through the sides but not the lid. Wish it would have been insulated, as it was priced very well. I returned it.

Portable. Great for the boat!
I wasn't looking for a cooler that could hold ice for a week. I only need something sturdy and capable of keeping drinks cold for an afternoon on the boat. This little cooler is perfect. I bought the 25qt and it's been used several times on the boat this spring. It's been just what I wanted. Roomy enough for an afternoon of drinks for several people and portable enough that I don't have to fight with loading it on and off the boat. Perfect. Just what I wanted!

I'm Not Sure About This Cooler
Bought the White 20 QT model recently, The cooler seems very Stout, Strong but Its Extremely Heavy. When Empty this cooler is like carrying around Travel Luggage, I have yet to put ice into this but as I read other reviews on this cooler, I am becoming discouraged.Has Anyone noticed that the Carry-Handle seems like it is Not Centered properly? When this is Picked-Up in Hand, its kinda Lop-Sided to one direction..I bought this to carry my daily lunches to work, Salads, Tupperware, Couple Bottles of Water, Salad Dressing things like that.I just want this to work!
