It isn't glass as far as I can tell, feels like plastic which it doesn't bother me due to I have a protective case covering it.

Very close to OEM
The back glass looks very original but you can tell it is not OEM. If you intend to keep it in a case, it won't matter. The tools provided is all you'll need. Install was very easy. Took 10 mins to replace. Get extra cell phone glue tape. The installed glue is not enough for a good seal! Install videos can be found on YouTube.
