Works Flawlessly With HomeKit
Meross products are standouts in that they just work in a smart home. Easy to setup, I've had zero issues or drops since plugging them in. They work with HomeKit very easily and consistently. They do not block adjacent outlet above/below and have a skinnier width than the old Wemo smart plugs for comparison. And the price on a 4-pack is very good.

Easy homekit setup - just ignore the instructions
Pro:size - two plugs easily fit in a standard double outlet and on standard size power strip (on compact strips you would still be able to fit a two-prong plug next to it.) This is a huge improvement over the old TP-link plug that took up 2 spaces on my power strip even when it was placed on the top (see picture.)Operation & Integration - once connected the plug just work. I quickly forgot that they weren't always there; waiting for my command. I can turn off all the lights in the house from the iphone flip-up screen.Installation - Like a lot of Meross products, the plug has EZ mode and AP mode. The detail instruction sheet takes you through EZ mode. However, the plugs were all in AP mode (slow blink) and I could not get it to blink fast even after 3 resets. Once you get over the fact that the instruction sheet is quite unhelpful and follow the instructions below, and you will find that installation is a breeze.1. Plug it in. Make sure that the light blinks green/amber. If it's steady green, as in a previous setup, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to get it into setup mode.2. on you iPhone, go to Settings | Wireless. wait a few seconds until the plug shows up under the heading "set up new device..." The name is "meross_sw_B210" or something similar... Click on it.3. You now get a message that allows you to "Add to Home & Wi-Fi" (see picture.) Smash that link to turn on the camera and scan the top of the plug to add it into Homekit.4. After about 30 seconds Homekit allows you to select the room and name of the new device. The phone automatically switch back to you home wireless network.cons:Not a huge issue, but the position of the button on the side of the plug could be challenging to your less techie household members. The ability to share homekit settings with everyone can mitigate the issue, but I'm a bit concern that I'll get a talking-to the next time my wife tries to turn on the floor lamp in the den.I have a couple of floor lamps and my Roku device connected to plugs. No more having to get up to manually reset Roku. A voice command to Alexa does the trick. The 4th plug is connected to my electric tea kettle to schedule it for my morning brew (until I get a smart tea kettle, but that's a battle for another day.)

Reliable, Easy to Use, and Addictive—I Keep Buying More!
I genuinely love these Meross smart plugs! They’re incredibly easy to set up, work flawlessly with both Alexa and Google Home, and the app is simple and intuitive. I started with one to test it out, and now I’ve bought multiple because they’re just that good. I use them for lamps, fans, holiday lights—you name it. The scheduling feature is super handy, and I love being able to control everything remotely. They’ve been 100% reliable. If you’re looking to smarten up your home without breaking the bank, these are a no-brainer.

Work well when they work!
They work great when they work. Make sure you have the correct internet settings and functionality. Sometimes when they lose connection after a wifi reset or power outage, they are a pain to get reconnected.

Easy to use
Having used WeMo plugs before, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy these ones are to set up. Point an Apple iPhone at it, and it is configured and working in less than a minute. Install the Meross app, and it's working with an Echo in moments. It's very impressive. However, this is a pack of 4, and one of them doesn't work at all. It starts, and even shows up on WiFi, but it refuses to configure, no matter what approach I take. The others work flawlessly, but this one switch is basically dead. I know I should ask for an exchange, but I'm still using the other 3, and don't want to have to send them back to deal with this one bad one.For the working ones, I love them. I'm giving it 4 stars if the quality were better, then I'd be giving a 5 star review.Update: Meross saw this review and responded with advice on connecting to this final device. I've now connected to it, and it's set up on my Apple Home system. It wasn't easy, but it did work! So maybe 4.7 stars is a more appropriate review? 🙂 I appreciate the effort from their support, so I'll round up the review

Cheap, but Flaky and Inconsistent Operation
I have a Leviton smart plug-in outlet I’ve used for a couple years, and it’s consistently worked as advertised. I wanted something with HomeKit so tried these out for the price and good reviews. They seemed easy enough to setup with the Meross app including a firmware update and adding them to HomeKit was easy enough. They worked for a couple weeks then I woke up one night to find all the connected lights on, every outlet that had them was unresponsive and couldn’t be controlled.I spent an hour removing them all from the home, resetting them, and trying repeatedly to get them to work. They worked, at least to turn them on and off, in the Meross app, but the point was Apple Home app integration. I already had a manufacturer-only app I had to use for the Leviton outlet. I finally got them readded to Home, but the automations seem to work on one and not the other. I was going to give up and tried one more time tonight. Deleted them all, reset them, readded one – everything seemed fine except it was immediately unresponsive in Home. I’m over messing with these.Unfortunately, I didn’t keep the box after a few weeks, or I’d look to return them. You get what you pay for I guess, but I put my old Leviton unit back in, which happily continued to work just fine, and I’ll explore other options if I’m still interested. Yes, all the devices had the latest firmware, iOS etc. Based on the reviews you may have a better experience but based on mine, I cannot recommend this product.
