Good budget bench supply, one quirk
I’ve been using it almost daily for several weeks, and I have to say it’s quite good for the price. It’s a bit more accurate than my previous one, voltage stays pretty steady under load, and the 2Amp USB on the front is a nice bonus. From my limited experience (and without digging through the internals) it seems like a pretty standard power supply, but a well-engineered one. I even like that the off/on switch is on the back of the unit, because that makes it less likely that I’ll turn it on by accident.I really only have one notable gripe, but I do think it’s important to be aware of this before buying. For my purposes it’s just an odd quirk, but for some applications I could see it being a substantial concern. The whole unit actually stays powered and continues to produce the full output for about ten seconds before actually turning off, regardless of whether you flip the on/off switch or unplug it from the wall. At least the screen stays on too so that you have a visual warning.Overall, I’m glad I bought it. Would buy again if I needed another budget power supply.

Both current and voltage monitoring is a great feature to have.
This power supply works great. Has controls for and metering for both current and voltage. I've used it as a power source for a variety of projects. I have also used it as a battery charger for lithium batteries and lithium battery packs. I have left it on overnight and over the weekend without any problems (I don't recommend this as a SOP). As the batteries charge the current reduces and the voltage is maintained. I wish all of you great success in your projects.

Works Like A Champ
This charger has been running non-stop without any issues for over 4 days while I top balance my new LiFePO4 cells. This charger/power supply is a beast. It's only slightly warm and the fan hasn't even kicked on yet. Granted, I'm charging with low wattage, but I'm impressed by its ability to stay cool. There are two features that really swayed me to this particular power supply. The first is the coarse and fine adjustments. This feature seems to only be found on the pricier power supplies. The second feature I really liked was that it showed watts. While this isn't exactly critical to know, it's definitely useful to see it on a screen without having to break out a calculator. This unit also came with the standard wires with alligator clips. No complaints there. They appear to be good quality and work as they're intended. When you consider the price of this unit and the features it has, it's a bargain. It's also pretty accurate. Only .003 volts difference between what's on the screen and what I measured with my multimeter.Oh..... to top it off, Kung Kungber gives you a lifetime warranty. So yeah, zero complaints, accurate, great features and a warranty. I highly recommend this power supply.

Best for hobbyists who change voltage infrequently
Summary:This power supply seems to be aimed at hobbyists. It seeks to provide basic functionality (don’t expect bells and whistles) at a lower price than many power supplies. For the most part, it succeeds. The controls need some improvement to make this unit more user friendly. As is, it is a reasonable option if you are willing to be patient with the controls in exchange for getting a lower cost power supply. If they fixed the issues with the controls, this would be an absolutely perfect entry-level power supply.Recommendation:If you are a hobbyist who needs an affordable variable power supply and you mainly work with a couple of voltages, this power supply could work well for you. If you have to change voltages a lot, this may not be the right power supply for you.The good:- Stylish, not just another beige box for bench- Affordable and buy only the voltage and amp rating you need- Compact and lightweight- Voltage and amp controls front and center- Separate coarse and fine adjustments (should make adjustments easy but not so much in practice, see the bad)The bad:- When adjusting the voltage down, there is a very serious delay in the control input and the reading output which makes adjustments difficult- The fine adjustment knob has hard stops on the minimum and maximum which limit its use- No “output” button which disconnects power from the banana plugs while you adjust the voltage- The power switch is in the backComments:I really can’t say enough about the styling. My other power supply looks very outdated, in comparison. The power supply gives you accurate voltage and current draw readings. And this is the single most important feature of a power supply.I’m never a fan of putting power switches in the back of devices. I hate to have to reach around and blindly hunt for a control. While I would prefer the switch to be in the front, given that this is an entry-level device and the switch is easy to find I don’t consider this a real issue for this device. This device really could use an “output” button to disconnect power from the banana plugs while power adjustments are made. This is a good practice to prevent accidentally overloading the device you are powering. Without an output button, you have to disconnect the leads from your device while you make changes.I also really like the voltage and amp controls being front and center, ready for immediate use. On my other power supply, changing power settings has you pushing buttons and turning dials so much it makes every simple power adjustment seem like trying to fly a 747. A product that can make voltage changes faster would very welcome. However, the controls need work. When you dial the voltage down, the output voltage is very slow to adjust. In fact, you can turn the voltage down, let go of the controller, and sit back and watch the voltage continue to drop. (The delay does not happen while increasing voltage.) Perhaps a bigger issue, though, is the hard stops on the fine adjustment knobs. You can only turn the knob so far clockwise or counterclockwise before hitting a stop. This means the fine adjustment knobs are only useful over a limited range. You have to make sure to get the course adjustment within this limited range to be able to hit your target value while making the final adjustment with the fine knob.Given the limitations of the controls, I recommend the following procedure for setting your values.- Disconnect the power leads from your device.- Turn the fine adjustment knob all the way to the left (counterclockwise) until it stops.- Use the coarse adjustment knob to turn the voltage down below your target value and wait for the reading to stabilize.- Use the coarse adjustment knob to dial the voltage up to a value slightly lower than your target value.- Turn the fine adjustment knob to the right (clockwise) to get to your final target value.- Reconnect the power leads to your device.

good value, good quality for price. cables are flexible and well made.
I have used this a lot and I really like it. The value was good, and it seems to be holding up well to my occasional use. I do not use it every day. The voltage adjustment is easy on this unit. The cords seem like they are good quality, flexible, well made. The display is plenty bright and easy to read. I would recommend this to a friend and if mine ever goes bad, I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Good value for a DC Power Supply
Excellent product, I bought it for setting some relays and it works great, quite accurate! It has an extra feature that others may or may not have: It shows the AH capacity while charging the battery. I have a deeply depleted battery and trying to revive it by performing the trickle charging with constant low amperage (as shown in the picture).
