useful for multiple airthings sensors, could use option to dim led status lights
There seems to be a lot of confusion as to why wifi isn't available on the airthings sensors. my options but having wifi although eaiser would cause battery drain or require more frequent charging /battery replacement as well as users complaining about connectivity loss (similar to web/security cams).the Hub has easy to view lights (although I wish there was an option to dim or turn off the led) . the hub's thickness is quite acceptable and the unit does not run hot.below is a similar review I posted for the wave plus sensorI was originally looking just for a smart radon tester before I installed a radon mitigation system and found the airthings wave system.at first I purchased the home kit which comes with a older wave 2nd gen, the hub and mini wave from Amazon warehouse (openbox). I had some issues with the hub as it was already registered and didn't want to mess with support who wasn't available 24/7 and ended up returning everything .during the initial setup I also (wrongly assumed) that the units would be WiFi/Ip based but the stand alone sensors only work via bluetooth or via radio with the hub. also without the hub the data isn't constantly recorded .I then ordered this new sensor wave plus, 2 mini waves and the hub (quite costly). setup was a breeze, unbox the sensors, download the app, register for an account, connect the sensor via bluetooth to your phone , update firmware and it's readym Then you plug in your hub add to the sensors to the hub via your phone. With the wave2 the radon level was high (as suspected as ally neighbors got their radon level tested professionally for 150 bucks . What I didn't expect was the co2 and VOC levels to be high in the house as well as high humidity levels in the basement.the co2 we were able to lower by opening windows and airing out the house, and humidity levels controlled with a dehumidifier in the basement. As far as the VOC i started looking into UV lights in the hvac and ultimately ended up with a Airscrubber by aerus installed from my hvac guy.after the airscrubber and hvac fans running the airthings wave sensor picked up the improvements.the web dashboard also is has a lot better data and is easier to see track historical data than the app as the app will show you real time stats we well as historical but can't zoom in on the data or set a custom time frame (zoom in).also the wave mini has mold detection but the wave plus does not and the wave plus (primarily for radon) has co2 detection but the mini does not so would like a unified sensor even if it cost more as well as the ability to have wifi (although this will prob drain the battery)I'd also like an option of hardwiring the sensor similar to a smoke detector and alert/push notifications for user or presets thresholds so I don't have to constantly monitor.overall great product but will make you think about how to improve the air quality after seeing the data :)

Superb product and top tier technical support
I rarely write product reviews but was so impressed with the Airthings detectors and cloud-based hub that I wanted to share my experience. Initially, I purchased a few mold and radon detectors and they worked great. Very easy to set up and quite accurate. Soon, I had a decent number of mold and radon detectors and so I decided to get a hub to connect these devices and to allow continuous monitoring and access remote access. Overall, these devices have worked flawlessly and have really added to our ability to proactively monitor for environmental problems in our home. Also, customer service has been outstanding. Very responsive to questions and very proactive with follow-up. 5-stars all around.

Much improved experience over Bluetooth.
Works very well. It was easy to pair with my existing AirThings device and now I can see the air quality remotely, a vast improvement on having to be near the device with Bluetooth and “poll” it.

Mixed Experience with the Airthings 2810 Hub and Sensors
I recently purchased the Airthings 2810 Hub along with four sensors—the 2 Airthings 2930 Wave Plus and 2 Airthings 322. Here's my experience with the product:Pros:Design and Setup: The hub is well-designed and was easy to hook up. It provided helpful recommendations on optimal placement, making the initial setup straightforward.User-Friendly Dashboard: The online dashboard at dashboard.airthings.com is intuitive and easy to use once your account is set up. Customizing the dashboard to display relevant information was a breeze.Cons:Sensor Connectivity Issues:- Airthings 2930 Wave Plus: The first sensor connected perfectly, including a required firmware update that necessitated a battery removal for a restart. However, adding the second 2930 was problematic. I discovered—after consulting the support site—that the mobile app needs to be completely closed and reopened before adding each new device even though it "can see it". This suggests the app doesn't properly disconnect from the previous device, likely due to Bluetooth handling issues. One also has to remove this device after a failed attempt to set it up before restarting the app.- Airthings 322: Adding these sensors was even more challenging. Although they appeared to update without needing a battery removal, neither sensor provided data updates for over 24 hours. I had to remove and reinsert the batteries to reset them, remove them, then add them individually. One connected immediately, while the other only connected overnight.- Wireless Interference: The hub relies on wireless communication protocols to connect to the devices that are susceptible to interference. In a home like mine—with multiple Wi-Fi networks (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz), Z-Wave, Insteon devices on 900 MHz, and various Bluetooth devices—the potential for signal interference is high.- Lack of Power over Ethernet (PoE) Support: For the price point, the hub and sensors should support PoE. This would offer greater installation flexibility and reduce reliance on potentially unstable wireless connections.- IPv4 and IPv6 Connectivity Support: The hub currently supports only IPv4 connectivity. In today's network environments, IPv6 support is becoming increasingly important for future-proofing devices and ensuring compatibility with modern network infrastructures. Adding IPv6 support would enhance the product's versatility and longevity. Conclusion:The Airthings 2810 Hub and its sensors have a solid concept and offer valuable features for monitoring air quality. However, the setup process is cumbersome and needs improvement. The product feels geared toward consumers, but some of the advertised integrations aren't as intuitive or user-friendly as expected. Enhancing connectivity options—like adding PoE and IP(v4 and v6) support—and streamlining the setup process would significantly improve the overall user experience.

Makes it work like normal
Wow I didn’t realize that this product should be the included product. Without this everything is slow and I get errors all the time. Now I can enjoy the rest of the product line.
