Quite expensive but useful textbook with clear explanations and many examples.

Brilliant book to learn mathematics. Highly recommend for any levels. Don't waste money for any others.

Firstly this is a tome not a book (3kg)but it has gotten me through some difficult parts of my modules and expanded my knowledge massively. I find the instructions easy to follow and its laid out with common sense. That being said you do need an understanding of at least GCSE maths as this is A-level to bachelors level degree year 3 in engineering. Definately worth the £40-50 considering you are spending thousands on your education. There is an Advanced Engineering Mathematics for levels after this which is more expensive, but probably essential too. If you are struggling to get through on maths, this is a must buy.

Very clear, well-organized and beautifully presented. There are abundant exercises with worked solutions. The supplemental online materials are very useful as well.

Explains mathematical principles in a clear, concise manner. Very helpful textbook ..... a student favorite for 50 years.

The material in the book is absolutely fantastic.The issue is the condition it arrived in; the pages had been opened, so they were already bent, resting open, and there is a smudge on the cover and a few pages. Not what I'd expect for a "new" book.
