It works
I had the scale for 10+ years and somehow misplaced the cord during a move. So glad to see it's still available on Amazon. Not exactly as pictured but it works with the scale.

Scale Power Adapter
This is the power adapter/cord for the ultraship scales. It works fine with the ultraship 75 I purchased. I wish that Myweigh would include the adapter with the scale, but they advertise the scale as portable, and assume that folks would rather just buy batteries. Plus then they can charge you extra for the adapter. :-)Note that, before I bought the scale, I tried calling the company to ask if the scale worked with no batteries in it, and had a hard time getting a person to talk to. Then I e-mailed them and got a rapid, accurate, friendly response (it works fine with no batteries in it), so if you have a problem or question for Myweigh, I recommend using e-mail.

Well worth the $$$
These scales, with detachable faces are a value in themselves. Battery power requirement got me thru a year but instead of replacing batteries opted for this power supply. Even more value now since weight measurements are more precise. A few grams here, there might not seem much to someone but when it comes to whether or not your rounding up to the next pound correctly or not..... yeah!

Not a Good Fit
I ordered this ac adapter along with a MY WEIGH 7000, but it was not compatible. The adapter was the wrong size, and it was the wrong voltage. The scale came with batteries so at least I was able to use it right away. I am returning the adapter, but have not yet been successful in finding the right adapter for my new scale. No problems with vendor, it arrived promptly.

So far so good!
I spend a bit of time looking at similar postal scales at big box office stores. None of them weighed items over 25 lbs in this same price range. Also compared on-line items, prices. I use this scale for ebay and have found it invaluable. Weights match USPS post office scale exactly. (and that includes many different USPS locations.) I selected this one because you can pull the display out and see the weight for large boxes.I have only had it for a month so I don't know how long it will last, but so far so good.I would have given it 5 stars if the adapter had been included.

Works with My Weigh Ultraship Ultra-75 Scale
I purchased this to replace an existing damaged power supply for a My Weigh Ultraship Ultra-75 scale (I've had the scale over four years and it's still going strong). It's the exact same part, fits perfectly, and works just as expected. It's unfortunate that an apparently flawed previous Amazon item description and improper purchase pairing suggestions resulted in so many low reviews for this power supply. It probably would be better if Amazon started a fresh item page with the current description, as all the negative reviews pertaining to the old inaccurate description are no longer relevant.

Works, but the cord is flimsy. May not be the best choice for the job.
This adapter works OK with the UltraShip 55 scale, but would work better if it had a more robust (and perhaps shorter) cord. I bought one four years ago after discovering that the UltraShip 55 I'd just bought as a kitchen scale didn't include a power adapter and drains batteries ridiculously quickly. The adapter still works, but I have to fiddle with the cord every time I want to use the scale, because the cord apparently has a broken core that creates an intermittent connection. I'm giving very serious thought to taking mine apart and wiring a new, more robust (and much shorter) cord into it.That said, you don't HAVE to use this specific adapter. The scale takes four C cells, so it'll run on 6VDC; any 6-10V power supply that provides at least 100mA and has the right physical connector ought to work. You could probably find one with a more robust cable — Ariic BRAND NEW 10V 2A AC / DC Power ac adapter Power supply, for instance, though 2A is rather overkill to run the scale. You could even use 7.5V USB power cable for My Weigh Ultraship 55 Scale to run the scale off a spare USB cellphone charger. If you're anything like me, you probably have several spare cellphone chargers lying around, and if you don't, there's always AmazonBasics Wall Charger with USB Outlet (2.1 Amp Output) (which, by the way, is a very good charger that I highly recommend). While both the Ariic and the Amazon Basics charger supply far more current than the UltraShip 55 needs, the truth is small power supplies like this are frequently so inefficient that the UltraShip supply doesn't necessarily cost any more to run, and if you DO have a spare cellphone charger lying around, the charger is free and that USB cable may be just what you need to put it to some good use.
