Sounds great for small 2.1 setup but Bluetooth is missing modern codecs. Doesn’t have USB audio input. Should be in $300 price range at this point since most of the tech is old.

Beautiful, impactful sound all around. The subwoofer adds in massive amounts of clean bass without being boomy or muddy. Speakers themselves sound great as well. Excellent built quality and everything just works.

Decided to buy these speakers because I was looking to improve my computer gaming experience by adding some base. Gorgeous speakers. The sound is absolutely crispy! Definitely Hi-Res Audio.

I bought these speakers in September of 2022 and they sounded great. I used them in my office at work. Other than adjusting the volume, I never touched them and they've been wired to the same PC since I purchased them. They recently quit making any sound. The company helpdesk determined that the entire unit was bad. We switched out the cord from the PC to the unit which didn't help. We plugged in another set of speakers and they worked fine. These are too expensive to only get 2 years use out of.

I have been living with these speakers for two years and one month now. Disclaimer: I am not an audiophile.I use these speakers to listen to YouTube videos, and streaming content on Netflix and Amazon prime. To my ear, they sound true. Speech sounds as if the person is in the room with me. They're excellent speakers. They deserve 5-stars for sound. But..I give them only a 4-star rating because the remote control is the stupidest design imaginable. It's round. That's right, pick it up and you have no way of knowing where it's pointing (and it has to be pointed exactly at the receiver). And the buttons are arranged circularly (of course on a round device) without spaces between them--which means that one is not distinguishable from the next by touch (adding to the difficulty of pushing the correct button is again the aim must be spot on). This thing is designed to be the most difficult and frustrating to use remote EVER.This is just a completely stupid design. I'm guessing it was probably the cheapest way to package a remote (round shape saves costs--literally, cutting corners) but what an absolute, shlitty, frustrating device it is.In my picture, you can see that my solution was to add some silicone rubber to one area of one of the buttons so that I can at least feel which way the remote should be facing. It's still an abominably, piss-poor remote.

After some research, and good discount, I decided to pick up the S360DB. Well, prepare to hear music in a new level of detail. The "out-of-the-box" sound is immediately super clear but I love tons of bass so I cranked that up and now we're rockin'!!Treble still comes through amazingly clear, with cymbals and snares much more alive than my previous setup (soundbar + sub). And with the bass turned up, stuff in your room will definitely be rattling!The value of this is great - so my only complaint is a small one.The remote design seems over complicated, and difficult to use in the dark. Due to the remote's perfectly round shape it is hard to tell by feel which direction you're holding it and where the buttons are.Using PC mode, I get a loud static hum after turning off my computer until I turn the speakers off as well. Same deal when the Aux cord is unplugged, so finding the power button easily would be nice.Yes, I could always turn the speakers off *before* the computer, but a normal remote design, while less interesting, would get the job done a little better here.Overall I can deal with the wacky, round remote because the sound quality and value are excellent, plus they have good looks to match!

Where do I start.Recently, I have been looking for an upgrade from my Klipsch 2.1 THX, which is a simple $140 sound system. I have used Edifier in the past but wasn't impressed with the quality. I stumbled across these and on paper they were amazing, a solid looking 8inch wireless sub along with 4in mid drivers with a planar tweeter. It was looking to be an interesting sound system, so I decided to give them a try.Lets get right to the point. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!! The packaging was nice and neat and gave a solid foundation for transportation. Taking them out of the packaging was easy, the bookshelf speakers had a nice feel with a dense structure to house the 4inch mid and tweeters in, with a nice weight behind it. However, you can tell the structure will not flex under intense music. I then turned my attention to the subwoofer, once out of the packaging it was a beast! The body felt sturdy, ridged and heavy with a beautiful looking subwoofer and a stiff voice coil.I set them down on my small table to break in properly but before I started the process. I powered on the speakers and then the subwoofer. Since the subwoofer is wireless, I was a bit worried about connecting them together but to my surprise it paired immediately. I hooked up via Bluetooth just to get an idea on how they would sound, the connection was easy to do and fast. However, I was disappointed to find out that they sounded nearly identical to the Klipsch but with tighter bass, for an extra 330 is that really all I get????After that I turned them up to about 25% volume and let them break in over the span of 20hrs. When I went to work, I would turn them on and when I got home, I'd turn them off for a rest. Once the break in period ended, I set them up on at my main desk with the speakers on top of their towers and the subwoofer went underneath the desk right where my old one was. I used the digital connection because it gave a better sound over the standard RCA connection.Now the sound quality is good, clear highs and warm mids. The 4in woofers can carry the mid frequency but it dips down hard after 100hz and when paired with the sub (because you can run them separately) it tied everything together. But here is my problem, the bass is lacking, when ON paper it shouldn't be!When turned up the subwoofer is so tamed it doesn't really shake the house even with the dial turned to the max (you can adjust the treble and bass). Now yes you can get more depth out of the bass department thanks to the sub being tuned for tighter bass, but how is my Klipsch a tiny 6in sub gonna throw out more bass than this product??! I will say I can hear more clarity in the lows with the Edifier but it's nowhere near as loud or 'boomie' as the Klipsch, and I'm paying 500 dollars for a system that barely outperforms a 140$ system????The remote was a nice touch and had a nice feel to it with some weight behind it. With the range being ok, you have to point the thing directly at it for the speaker to pick it up or else if it is 10 degrees off center it won't find the signal. Also not having a display for volume kinda stinks, they only way to tell if the speakers are at max volume is to look at the light that displays what channel you're on. If it blinks as you turn the dial then you can adjust the sound, if it's a solid light, then it's at its max volume. How hard would it have been to add a number display right next to the channel display? For 500 bucks I think it should come standard.If you've made it this far, Hi! I'm glad you value my opinion. I would call myself a novice Audiophile, and I have a passion for good sounding systems. But let me tell that for 500 bucks, these aint it. I'd recommend the Klipsch, SVS, or if you have the money to buy them- some Bowers and Wilkins speakers.
