Ya… no!
We ordered two different Jack Daniel’s cakes and this one was pretty awful. It wasn’t the whiskey soak as much as it was the flavor and texture of the cake. But the whiskey soak was less than brilliant as well. We even tried helping it with whipped topping, but no go. It is a small cake. Suitable for only one or two people. We were not fans of this particular cake and won’t order it again. But…to each his own pallet.

Dry and Small
Exactly as described above. It's very potent, with an incredibly strong taste (to each their own on that I suppose) but the cake itself was very dry and it is an incredibly small item.

Tastes like whiskey
Packaging is really nice, and expiration date was October 2024 (so more than a year and half after I received it). I had high hopes for this item. No damage during shipping, and the cake itself was wrapped in this silver foil and is held in a nice cardboard type holder inside. The cake itself is really soft, and very moist.Unfortunately it tastes strongly of liquor - I felt my body start to react as if I had just taken a shot, which is a weird reaction. If it weren't for such a strong whiskey flavor then I would actually enjoy this - the cake itself is a good quality, perfect to be served with fruit or some french vanilla ice cream. If this was a cake that was actually soaked in alcohol and could get you buzzed - that would be awesome. But it's not. Or if it was just a normal honey cake - that would also be awesome. But they combined the worst parts of both of those scenarios and ultimately made a disappointing honey cake at best. Still that's my opinion and that's subjective - just be warned that it tastes strongly like JD Tennessee Honey.

Not worth the price.
We ordered this because it sounded good, It's okay. Not great. The texture is fine but it's dry and the tase is not that good. Definitely not worth what we paid for it.
