Great little mount!!
This is a great little mount. Simple design but better than other mounts that clamp-on. I like the fact that it already has a rubber insert on it to prevent slippage. I also appreciate its very slim design. Perfect. Just don’t over tighten and it should last you a long time. If you need to change the band to another size just study how the reinstalled band is attached so you’ll know how to install another size band if necessary. I’m VERY happy with this mount!

Nice Garmin Mount
This Garmin handlebar mount is easy to install and secure. The price is quite reasonable.

Attaches securely but question how sturdy the unit will be
This Magicshine Handlebar mount solved a couple problems for me. I was having issues with the garmin mount (with the heavy duty “rubber bands.” Every time I took my phone off, the garmin base twisted along underneath it. I decided I needed a mount that was bolted or fixed more securely than the “bands” were going to allow. I also needed something I could use with my “handlebar extender” (8” bar mounted above the handlebars for lights, computer, etc.)Pros & Cons Magicshine handlebar mountPros* Secures nicely to the bar extender* Once understood, it’s simple to attach* Priced reasonably* Only solution I could find that aligns garmin computer position pointing forward (how you want to read it.) Similar approaches for “tri-bars” end up positioning the garmin computer sideways if used on handlebars* Comes with 4 strap options for different diameter barsCons* I overtightened the first (of two) of these I bought. It popped (broke) out the plastic where the allen bolt head rests. I had to use a washer to make the surface area large enough to catch. I think that’s way way too brittle* There are no directions. I took the first band off and was playing with the others. When I settled on the one I wanted to use I was a little stymied about how it went together. No directions (or even a drawing) meant I had to monkey with it for a bit to figure out the way its supposed to go back together.I’m unclear how sturdy the thing would be if I took a spill. I do 95% of my riding on pavement but I do do occasional gravel rides. Still, I rarely dump my bike.Below are amazon links to the two other pieces of equipment I use with this;Mountain Bike Cell Phone Holder Handlebar Universal, Compatible with Garmin Mount, 4.0"-6.7"https://a.co/d/b3D5kR8Yizhet Bike Handlebar Extender, Lightweight Durable Double Bicycle Handlebar Extension Bracket for Holding Motorcycle E-Bike Lamp Speedometer GPS Phone Mount Holderhttps://a.co/d/dRztitp

SHOULD HAVE GOT THIS FIRST!
Simple, easy to install, and better than the more expensive attachment that won't stay tight.

Very secure bracket for a Garmin
I always felt that the Garmin Edge bracket supplied by Garmin wasn't very secure, this bracket is much better.

So much better than stock Garmin mounts
Got one of these with my mj906s light and bought extras for other bikes as well as using them for my Garmin. Not sure what issues some of the other reviewers are referring to. These tighten down nicely and the items (lights, gps, etc) click in firmly. I even bought a couple to replace the stock ones that Garmin provides as these are much more secure (both in how they attach as well as how they hold the device). I suppose if you crash and you've over tightened the clamp, there's a possibility of it breaking, but that could happen with any mount

Solid, low-profile mount
I really like this mount. It is solid and easy to attach. It is a good low-profile mount; it provides 11/16 inches of clearance between the top of the bar and the bottom of my Garmin. This is lots more than the Garmin rubber band system, but it's much more secure. The centerline of the mount for the Garmin is close to the centerline of the handlebar (this depends on the diameter of the handlebar). Five stars!

Doesn’t fit modern mountain bike bars
Largest strap is slightly too long to mount to modern (35 mm) bars. Next smallest strap is too short for 35 mm bars. Alarmingly idiotic for a company to have FOUR straps yet not have a single strap for modern mtb handlebars.
