The top measures 31.5” wide and distance between the legs is 28” If you’re concerned because you like to sit up close to the desk, the top overhangs about 5” at the front which helps with clearance for your chair.

What is the weight limit for items on top of the desk?

I don't know the weight limit. I just use it for my laptop, lamp and any papers I am working on. It feels very sturdy though. It is stable while I work on it. I like that I can fold it up when I have company.

Great desk, not easily broken down.

Overall it's a good size. Great for working on my laptop and a desk chair fits at it nicely. It is not as easy to break down and put away as I was hoping. The weight is significantly more than I wanted. That being said, it is also incredibly sturdy and a solid piece of furniture if you plan to keep it out. If you are looking for a desk that breaks down easily you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise I like it a lot.

Sturdy and great looking table

This is a great looking and sturdy table. It was easy to assemble and it is easy to set up and fold back down. I bought the natural and white color. It is a little darker than what is shown on the pictures. But it looks great.

Nice little desk

It’s pretty easy to put together and the instructions are simple and straightforward. I bought it to use as a laptop desk in my bedroom and the little pouch on the side is great for my note books and pens. I will say though that the pouch attaches with velcro and will fall down if you put to much weight in it.
