Smells great & effective!
We've been having a major black fly infestation and your typical ticks at our house. This along with a lawn spray were the only products that seemed to decrease the numbers of flies and we haven't seen a single tick in weeks since spreading this around the yard. Not to mention the smell of the cedar chips is quite nice! Worth the money in my opinion.

Helped with gnats!
I was looking for something natural to use to help control the gnats in my backyard. This stuff smells great and I noticed a difference immediately. It is so easy to apply to lawn using a spreader. I will be purchasing again to use in a few weeks.

Keeps Gnats out of my Eyeballs.
This stuff works!! At the beginning of Spring, I would be covered in gnats just trying to water the lawn. The first day after treating the grass and garden beds, there was a significant improvement, and after a week the lawn was gnat free. I’m curious to see how long we can keep the bugs at bay. I prefer this method over dousing myself in bug spray!

SMELLS GREAT
As soon as I began to spread the lawn down stairs with it, u can see a large swarm of mosquitoes fleeing my tiny apt at ONCE. It requires water to be effective so shortly after I sprinkled a nice layer all over the yard n on my porch it began to pour. It became even more effective.

Huge waste of money
So I found this on the green genie and I started purchasing this and putting around my yard every 3 weeks. I started putting it around the house and yard out to the fence starting in December in South GA North Florida area. I was thinking it was working, there were only a few mosquitoes hanging out int heir normal areas and they seemed to leave when spreading the mulch. Now that we are officially in Spring the mosquitoes are back and are unaffected by this mulch. So I've spent $45-$50 four times for four applications and this stuff is not working. You can see in these pictures, the cedar mulch I applied a week ago is apparent in the picture on the brick and yet there are several mosquitoes just chilling above the mulch. I was hoping since a Florida nursery was praising this product it was the real thing, but they must be getting paid for advertising. Shame. $200 loss. Maybe it works up north but apparently not in south GA/North FL.

Cedarcide
Used before. It’s a very effective product and the scent of cedar makes it nicer. Will continue to use it

Not sure
Not sure about effectiveness for mosquitoes and ticks. Still have a lot of mosquitoes. But may be working for spiders. A bit pricey. I’m not sure if I’d buy again.
