BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless String Trimmer, 2 in 1 Trimmer and Edger, 12 Inch, Battery Included (LST300)

I like this line of tools. This one replaced the same model that lasted about 14 years. Great for small yards and great if you have a bunch of these batteries. I use about three batteries for my yard and I have no complaints.

I am pleasantly surprised with this product. The battery life and also the trimmer itself are much better than I expected and well worth the money. I would recommend this trimmer for grass and light weed trimming.

Got yesterday, charged battery- started using today. I believe it works well- EXCEPT- it’s constantly shutting down. I got about 8 minutes of work done and even though it starts back up, within a second, shuts back down. Definitely not happy with this aspect! It’s gonna take me days at this rate, that is… if it gives me another 8 minutes of working! If things change I will updateUPDATE ** the first charge must have not taken on the unit- charged again and it’s staying on and working. Definitely suggest overnight 8-10 hoursCharging battery all night. Using a few times a week to keep from having to full blown mow- batteries not lasting long enough to weedeat around a 20x 20 area- just the outskirts of my small garden area! But great tool- horrible battery life!

I ordered the for a better battery then myold one and it uses replacement parts I alreadyhad!!

This trimmer works great for me! Only weighs weighs 5lb. is easy to assemble and also easy for me to handle.The string comes out automatically. I used it 2 times already and the battery was still working after 1 hr. each time. I use it to trim around the house and sidewalk. I try to go easy on it by not getting to close to the brick concrete or metal poles etc. I was really impressed with this trimmer I believe the handle is also adjustable although I didn't need to do that. My husband is happy because he doesn't have to use his trimmer so much. I'm happy because I like to trim around the house before everything gets too tall :) Great price also!

Light and great for LIMITED work.

Sometimes buying a brand name is best. I tried an offbrand cordless and it did not work well at all. So I went back to buying a brand name that I’ve used before and not had a problem with. Totally worth the money. This unit works excellently. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. Does exactly what it says. It does in the description.

Honestly, I adore this Black & Decker weed eater. I have a small yard, but mostly it's weeds that grow. It's perfect for my needs. I knocked out 2 stars because the battery was doa. Luckily, I had 2 more batteries from previous Black & Decker tools. This isn't the first time I had a battery doa from a Black & Decker tool either.This is a personal message to Black & Decker: You need better quality control on your batteries.
