What size - diameter in inches across thie top of bottle or jug - do they fit?

I see a few people have attempted to answer this and they were not very accurate. The bottom of the flair is 1 1/8 in diameter and the widest point of the flair at the top is 1 3/8. The very top has a ridge which has a diameter of just over 1 1/2 inches but this portion can not be inserted into the bottle.

Thanks for shopping. This stopper is too large for a common plastic jug. You may want to consider a #6 or #6.5 rubber stopper for a common plastic jug with an inside opening diameter of 1-1/8in. Just measure the ID of your jug before purchasing to find the right size.
