It halps to have a drill with a philips bit to unscrew and replace all the screws for the pads and to see that one of the screws in the front pad is different than all the others. These pads are actually useful for walking. Quiet with good grip.

Excellent replacement soles, little on the pricey side for just a couple strips of plastic and rubber (oh and a few bolts) but, hey, it's Sidi and I have never had an issue with them and comfort is excellent. Only 2 rides on the pic so they do wear quickly.

You need these if you run around rocks for a few years. It makes a big difference on shoe/pedal contact...esp on eggbeaters. Expensive, but ...so is most stuff that works.

wish they were a little less expensive, but it's way better than replacing the whole shoe
