If this a deep dish pie pan?

It is 1 1/2 inches high - not really deep dish. But the finish is wonderful requiring no prep before laying in the crust.

Can I use it to make a cherry pie? I've always been told you should only use glass for cherry pies.

I have used this pan for all the pies I make. It has always turned out well. Be it Apple, cherry, quiche, banana cream, etc. Use it with confidence.

The best pie crust!

Great! My wife and I have used Doughmakers pie pans for many many years. We have other good pie pans, but these produce the best crust. I bought this one as a gift for my daughter. Unfortunately the crust protector was not in the package.

These work great, nice even crust and I love the lightweight rings. They keep the crust from getting to dark when pre-baking shell and also when baking. They do not crush my lovely fluted edges either as they are very lightweight. Easy to clean up.

glue for label does not come off

I cannot get the label off of any of the doughmaker products that i bought - tried goo be gone and alcohol. The glue will not come off!!!! I may just have to throw out the pans as they are all washed and scrubbed with glue patches still there. Has anyone had any luck? What is the matter with these folks!!!!

Baked well but could not get paper glued on pan (packaging)

This is a great pie pan. Baked my pie evenly and was well browned. The Only Bad Thing WAS Trying To Get the paper that was glued on the pie pan off. I dont know what type of glue they used but it would not come off even under hot water. I had to scrape it off with a knife and it ended scratching the pan.

My second purchase of this pan!

I was really sorry to part with my original Doughmakers pie pan, which eventually suffered from surface wear. However, I found a replacement on Amazon and snapped it up immediately. It's dependably produced excellent crusts, and the rim protector means never having to say "sorry about the burnt edges!" It is my favorite baking pan.

Doughmakers 9" Pie Pan with Crust Protector

As an avid baker all my life, I now have to ask where I've been all my life! Such a simple and effective product that I have just availed myself of! Love this pan. I appreciate the finish, and not having to fashion some sort of pie crust protector myself. I would certainly recommend this pan to others.
