Blue Handworks Spiky Owl Glass Wind Chime

I bought this for my sister as a birthday present this year. She has an extensive collection of high end wind chimes in her beautiful garden surrounding her home. I had the chimes sent to me first so I could inspect it first because I was concerned that it may not be well made or cheap looking. When I received the chimes I was relieved to see that it was well made and not cheap looking at all. The feathers hanging from the bottom are glass and have an almost "beach glass' quality that I love and the construction of the owl itself is quite detailed. I gift wrapped it and shipped it to her for her birthday and am happy to report that she was extremely pleased with her gift. She sent me a picture of it hanging in her garden and says that the tone of the chimes are very pleasing to the ear and it is well balanced and slowly rotates around even if there isn't a breeze.

This is a beautiful little wind chime for owl and/or glass lovers. Has a very pleasant "ting" when the wind hits and it compliments our bigger metal wind chime very well. As for quality, it's very good quality, has already lasted through a few huge storms (included one that produced a tornado only a half a mile away!). It also LOOKS like a good high quality hand-made item. Highly recommend, if it looks like something you (or a loved one) would enjoy, then I'm pretty sure you'll love it.

I bought this as a gift for someone who collects owls. Was trying to get something artsy and not generic looking and found this. It's beautiful! A little too delicate (in my opinion) to hang outside as we get pretty strong winds, but she ended up hanging it inside next to her sliding door and it looks amazing! I highly recommend! The product came VERY well packaged, it actually took a bit of work for me to get it out to inspect it before repackaging it and wrapping it up. I would definitely purchase from this company again!!

I found this guy on another site for almost double the price, so I was thrilled when I found him here. He's super cute and colorful, a great gift for any fan of owls. I'm not sure if he's meant for outside or inside display, but I recommend keeping him inside. The "leaves" are made of glass. They feel rather sturdy, but they're still glass. It'd be a shame for them to be broken.

At first I was thinking of returning this wind chime, but I am beginning to like it. The only glass parts are the glass that make up the chimes. The rest of the wind chime is painted metal. It is very unique and looks just like the photo. I don't think it is worth $30; maybe $20 would be a fairer price.

I have no complaints and there is nothing intrinsically wrong with it, I just didn't think it was as cute in person as it was in the picture. If I had seen it in a store I would have passed it by.

I can't wait to put this out in my new yard once my house is complete. The owl is so adorable, well constructed, and the chime produces a really nice sound. I also purchased the matching stake with the three sitting owls. I am following the suggestion of some of the other customers and will place a clear protective spray coat over them.

This was lovely. Bigger than I expected it to be and quite a hefty piece of decor. The glass petals hanging from the frame of the piece seem to be very delicate so I don't think I'd hang it outdoors in case of stronger winds but it's a darling addition to my entryway greenhouse. Well worth the money.

This wind chime has not deteriorated after a year in salt air and humidity. Wow! Great buy.

It's cute and just the right size. And I like the tinkling sound the glass pieces make in the breeze.
