I really wanted to love this but it was very poorly made. The flap that goes into the hole to be able to lock the book was frayed and once the book was open. It was impossible to put it back through. The hole that the padlock goes through was just a sloppy puncture hole. Sucks cause I would have loved to have made this my journal.

The smell is not a "good leather" smell but a mix of the worst fake chemicals. First object that smelled so bad I couldn't use it and had to throw it away.

Some people report poor locks and lock holes...etc...but i have recieved a great journal with no flaws! Well worth the money!!

I bought this as a birthday gift for my cousin. I opened the pacakage with my boyfriend and we were blown away by how gorgeous this is. The paper gives it great energy, the lock is good enough quality to keep her obnoxious brother out (lol), and the flower detail on the leather cover is stunning. I loved it so much I bought one for myself, which will be in some time today!!! :)

Very nice leather journal. Well made except for the locking mechanism which is hard to close once opened. Still, makes a nice gift for a youngster.

Bought it for a Christmas gift, looked just like the photo. The paper is very nice and my brother was excited when he got it.

This diary/journal is amazing! It is rare today to find such good craftsmanship. Cover is full grain leather. Pages are hand made paper with the flaws that go with it (in a good way). Each page is unique. We love this product and have ordered more.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend, and he loved it. It’s a beautiful journal, and the lock on it works well.
