Great Guitar!
This is a great guitar! It arrived intact and perfectly set up. Playable right out of the box! In 50 years of playing this is only the second time I didn't have to set up a new guitar. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Fret Buzz
This guitar has a lot of fret buzz. I took it to a guitar center to be set up and still retained the fret buzz. I think it has more to do with high frets than the neck not being straight. I would have expected better quality control from esp/Ltd especially if you're spending almost $900 on a guitar.

Just fine for a beginner
Honestly, I bought this completely for its looks. Thankfully, it's easy to play for a beginner like me. Stays in tune just fine.

Amazing guitar, well worth the value!
I've owned this guitar for about a year now, and it's absolutely incredible. I upgraded from an Epiphone Les Paul Studio Deluxe II (in starburst) to this guitar, and since I've only played my old guitar a few times. One of the first amazing things about this guitar is the locking tuners. It makes restringing your guitar SO much easier. The active pickups are just beautiful for heavier music (metal, metalcore, post-hardcore) and just sound amazing. One of the things I didn't know beforehand, however, was that you will occasionally have to replace the battery for the active pickups. It's a small price to pay, really.I also learned how to adjust my truss rod with this guitar. It's not something I would recommend unless you're confident in your abilities to adjust your guitar without breaking it, but after toying with it shortly after buying it, I got the perfect tone out of this guitar. The default strings that come with the guitar were nice, but I ended up switching out for Ernie Ball Power Slinky stings because I like to play in Eb and Drop C tunings. One of the nicest things about this guitar is how infrequently you need to adjust the tuners, even with newer strings on. After a day or two, you won't have to touch the tuners very often if you've got the right strings on, and even after a fresh string you're only making slight adjustments for perfect pitch.I only have had 2 problems with my guitar. Where the cord plugs in I find that the hookups get loose occasionally and I have to tighten them. The other problem is once when I was restringing my guitar the g string's locking tuner dropped a screw of some kind (I think) and it no longer functions as a locking tuner, but I can still string it like a regular guitar.
