Wera 05004050001 29-Piece Ratchet Set with Push-Through Square Imperial

All WERA products are pretty cool tools and well thought out in their design. Obviously not designed for big jobs but perfect for small engine repairs and other medium sized jobs

This set is where it all began for me, since I have purchased the 11-piece metric and 8-piece SAE joker wrench sets, a dozen screwdrivers including the clever bit-storing extending blade, ratcheting, flex-shaft, ESD, chisel driver, and Kraftform ESD micro models. I also had to have the 1/4inch mini-Zyklop set (metric), the 1/4inch full size as well as the 3/4 inch grand daddy. While I was at it I picked up the stubby series of ESD, bit-holding, and conventional drivers, along with the very high quality bottle opener. I have also recently picked up the 1/2 inch Koloss ratchet with hammer, the extender and centering pin for it. You could say I have become a major Wera fan recently. All of the tools which is quite a comprehensive range of tools, totals in at under $1500 which I consider a bargain.

The media could not be loaded.  I really wanted to like these but they have a pretty big flaw.Positives- carrying case is very well designed and sturdy- tools feel very well made and comfortable.Negatives- sockets do not stay on the ratchet. I have a team of 300 technicians and we use our ratchets heavily in the industrial business. Unfortunately having to chase a socket down every other use renders these guys un-useable.- same with the bits. They fall right out. See video

Kit is nice and tools are fine. The sockets knurling is not cut deep enough to get a good grip. The sockets have a nice fit on nuts and bolts and are of high quality but not at retail prices. I got this set for 70$ and it is probably worth that but quality is not up there with other German brands hazet or what not.
