Great balance between beautiful and a bit scary. The eye sockets are large and very dark. It's heavy and large, the design prominent and pretty, and the skull darkens in several areas for a sort of dirty/rusted look beneath the design. Simply put: If you're thinking about it, it's definitely worth it.

Got this as a gift from my husband, because after 26 years of marriage he still can't remember our anniversary. I love it, it's well made and detailed just like description says.

Purchased this as a gift for a friend. Both of us were truly amazed at the beauty of this piece when she opened it. It's quite large, probably close to the size of a real human skull and heavier than I had imagined. The design is intricate and consistently detailed around the entire skull (except for underneath). I personally am not into skulls but did appreciate the beauty of this piece. My friend, who is very much into skulls, was just beside herself with how beautiful it is. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This skull has such beautiful detail, and it is a great size. I know it's impossible to see the detail in my photo because of the glass cloche, but you can at least get an idea of the size. It makes me so happy!

Nice! My new headphone stand. This is not the size of an actual adult human skull, at least not mine, but good looking just the same. Comes with a felt pad on the bottom so it won't scratch a wood finish.

Most skulls I find look very masculine. I wanted one to be more feminine looking for my ancestral altar and this one fits the bill! With its floral design engraved in the skull and the soft monotone color, it has a pleasing look to it.

I think Sugar Sculls are kinda cool. I understand The Day of the Dead so there is wonderful tradition not just Halloween gore. I took a star off not for quality, the quality is quite amazing, its a simple and personal thing. I don't care for the dark eyes and nose, so I'm going to paint them myself with a cream acrylic paint. I chose the unpainted version also, I like the simplicity and the plain goes with my home décor of grass greens browns and creams.
