PRE-K kids loved the book asking me to read it again and again.Their pre-k school is located next to a vet tech college facility withhorses to see every day. One child asked to read PATCH as well,but I see that PATCH is not available online. Will PATCH be availablelater? I would buy more in the series if they asked.

I bought one copy of this book as a Christmas present for my 6-year-old niece. Before I wrapped it, I read it to my 3-year-old daughter, who loved it so much I ordered a copy for her also.It's a nice story, and we love the illustrations. Nice extras are the removable picture card at the back of the book and facts about percheron horses.

I love these books, we bought the entire set. They are perfect for my almost six year old who can read at a 4th grade level, the stories are great as are the pictures. I would say this is a great book for a 3-4th grade reader.

My six year old daughter LOVES this entire series. She can read them independently and reads them over and over and over again. We're working on collecting the entire series. A definite hit for any horse lover!
